It's a real hotch-potch on the recycling isn't it? We can leave out plastic bottles but until only recently ours wouldn't take glass! What I want is for them to take the plastic packaging stuff, the plastic trays etc that seem to be in almost every food stuff and whilst I'm on my soapbox about this - why don't they take aluminium foil and foil trays etc? That really annoys me!
(err thank you...steps off soapbox)

Busy in here :-)
Lovely and sunny here now but we were due it after days of
hurricane type winds!
Have just put my bottles and papers outside the door - fortnightly
collection here (no foil though!) LOL
Cappucino, please .. with plenty of sprinkled chocolate and one of
those Italian thingies to dip in it ;-)

Perish the thought that I should touch your box Bunny.
I was looking at soap this morning and considering buying some over the net. It was the soap that was provided to all first class passengers on the Titanic, believe it or not it is still manufactured. At 19 for 6 bars it is a bit costly when you don't know whether it is nice or not.

Now you an OAP you should be economising. I could collect the free soaps, shampoo's etc from my hotel trips and send them to you. One condition, you have to go shopping with the shower cap on.

Mrs S is in charge of recycling so I dont know the details but we have different things that can be recycled in Hastings compared with Sevenoaks, all I know is that sometimes the car is half full of stuff that can be recycled in one place but not the other, or vice versa.

Jeffers, I'm still using up the freebies from my last holiday. No shower cap though, I draw the line at that.

Hello, people talking about food reminds me it is lunchtime. Baked beans on fried bread will do nicely for me. Sun is shining too, what more can a chap want.
