another barrowload of money for the PR and media guys
it always annoys me as it's an expensive exercise and not even necessary and even more unjustifiable in a company that is just limping along

re -new site

The new site looks the a better place to look for things
Modern, focused and like a company of the future.
The old one looked dated and had a lot of old information, which was confusing to new/potential investors.

If it helps the share price, I would say money well spend

and it does today as is rising from the recent stagnation, now needs a bit of more buying and ready for a BREAKOUT

mentor - 15 Aug 2016 09:12 - 1273 of 1468

Are we ready for the push?

The buys continuing show on the ticker as is the offer price rising, the spread got a bit large 20.50 v 22p at the moment so about time the 21p bid comes along.

cynic - 15 Aug 2016 09:18 - 1274 of 1468

i shall be very happy indeed to see this one rocket away as i am still well out of pocket albeit that it was always going to be a long-term hold

mentor - 15 Aug 2016 10:12 - 1275 of 1468

BREAKOUT 22.375p

Has moved over the previous intraday high of 21.75p, large volume since last Friday
The spread is closing now 21.75 v 23p, wonder if they read my post

I posted somewhere else .............

Today 10:06 - Market Makers

Seeing the buying going on and the spread getting larger and larger, Iam concluding that they a bunch of " blood s@ckers " .

It is an order book market but they know how to manipulate the market and no one is doing anything about it.

so just my honest opinion today, spread 20.75 v 23p

mentor - 15 Aug 2016 15:03 - 1276 of 1468

25p +5p

The breakout is working wonders for the share price as the volume is there

HARRYCAT - 15 Aug 2016 15:38 - 1277 of 1468

About time!! I have stock at 20p & 28p in dealing account. Higher in ISA but not too worried about trading that. Next stop 28p?

Up again on good early volume.

Closed Position T +7 @ 26.94p

HARRYCAT - 16 Aug 2016 14:40 - 1280 of 1468

I always seem to sell too early, though a profit is always welcome, but think I will try and squeeze a bit more out of this. My target is somewhere between 29p-32p.....fortunately I can watch it most of the time if needs be.

mentor - 16 Aug 2016 16:11 - 1281 of 1468

The early spike this morning was a signal that could be the end of the rise for the moment being.

Why did not sell then?
I was not on the screen till 9.10am and by then everything did happen, up and down again, so I looked for the next good movement up to sell them.

Share price was well ahead of Bollinger Band top Band

I can't complain, bought at 16.025p and sold at 26.94p so a 66.70% gain on 13 days and I did not have to pay for the stock.

AFC Energy said on Friday its finance director Christopher Tawney will step down from the board with immediate effect to pursue other business interests.
The company said it has appointed a senior financial controller who will absorb the roles performed by Tawney.
"Christopher joined AFC Energy in 2014 and the board would like to thank him for the contribution he has made to the business in the last two years," AFC said in a statement.

HARRYCAT - 07 Sep 2016 16:49 - 1285 of 1468

AFC Energy Quarterly Newsletter - September 2016

greekman - 30 Sep 2016 07:15 - 1287 of 1468

Firstly, its OK looking for further prospective customer areas, but what we want is 'one of those customers from AFC's select list of around 6 to 8 that they mentioned a couple of years ago to sign on the dotted line, otherwise what's the point of chasing even more potential customers when the capacity to deliver would not be there.

But the following extract is by far the most important, 'during the past three months, through improvements in stack design and build quality delivered through the Gen2 development programme, we have achieved over 180% improvement in fuel cell stack continuous operating hours and over 320% improvement in total stack running hours over the past quarter'.

Perhaps my impatience is showing through once again, but if the product does as it says on the tin why can't they sell it.

18p - 3.50p

Jam tomorrow it seems for some of you holding for long term and waiting for the share price to do better.

My strategy to wait for the cycles of the share price and then take profits, has worked so far as the company strategy is not yet well clear.
