Coo..............

Showing a profit on PRE already!!

Dunno how I do it?

seawallwalker - 02 Nov 2004 16:19 - 1320 of 7811

Here it is...............

Baked Potato with mature Safeway Finest Cheddar, got it half price as the date was up on the 22nd October. (That was when I bought it).

Since then, I have allowed it to mature a little more, and today I had a mass grating session.

It follows therefor that I use some of the said cheese.

Sprinkled on top and put under the grill just before serving.

To borrow someone elses catch phrase..........bootiful!

The spuds I bought yesterday from the farm shop 25kg for 6.50 but these are all massive.

As most supermarkets sell the big ones at a pound each according to the weight, I am quids in there too.

It's worth getting your spuds this way people!

I have a nice bottle of the said chardonnay to polish off this evening, have not had any so far today.

Good to see SEY still holding at 19p.

Should work wonders with the placing.

Agree with the spuds it really is the only way to buy. I get mine all the time from our local farm shop yummy yummy. Bottle of red for me tonight that's goes best with a large marrow bone.

Morning all,

Just crawled out of my bed after a few days, got a bout of flu. Notice that we are still holding around the 19p mark which is good to see. Plenty of posts on here to catch up on, nice to see the food ones flying in still! All I've had to eat pretty much is soup with lemsips! Can think of better things to eat! Especially after reading some of these posts!

Looks like Bush will still be in charge, or will we get a surprise later.

proptrade - 03 Nov 2004 09:56 - 1325 of 7811

damn Bush. love the tony link.

SEY, food and humour. what a well rounded thread we have all created. Maybe we should have our own quick tab on the Moneyam homepage....just a thought.

mickeyskint - 03 Nov 2004 10:16 - 1326 of 7811

If Bush does make it, where will we be in 4 years time. Who knows?

MS

proptrade - 03 Nov 2004 10:20 - 1327 of 7811

better the devil you know? load of rubbish. the sad part is that I could put my 5 year old son against Bush and he would probably take a sizeable chunk of the vote just because he is NOT Bush.

If only the Democrats put a solid known credible candidate up...

please add politics my last post as well!

gavdfc - 03 Nov 2004 10:22 - 1328 of 7811

Here's another link.

I found them quite amusing!

Mickey, if Bush does win then maybe the oil price will keep rising as he keeps adding to the Strategic reserve. But apart from that, who knows.

mickeyskint - 03 Nov 2004 10:22 - 1329 of 7811
