Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Wishful thinking, instant gratification satisfaction and a GDP based on a plastic generation.
Now, where is my first drink of the day?
PS.
I don't think you should have started this thread.
But thanks.

You are right Fred, the growth in Britain during the Labour years was almost totally built on borrowed money, borrowed by Labour and the consumer. The developed world has had a binge on someone else's money, welcome to the pay back period.

Hays,
I think that you are possibly right about the result of an election in January, but the result would be closer than you suggest.
Anyway, Cameron will probably bottled it.
--------------
The members of coalition are clutching to each other as if they are made of straw.
===========
While Cameron and Osborne are digging their own graves the last thing the Labour party want is another election.
=============
There isn't enough cash in their kittiy and no pirates on a treasure island to stake them.
(Mind remember pirates often come back to plunder at a later date and a lot were eventually hung.)
===
But when the actions of the torie coalition are really felt on the "streets" in 6-9 months time, there may be more enthusiasm for change.
I would not like to be steering the coalition boat on even on it. Titanic comes to mind.

Ps,
For an atheist, you certainly have strong "beliefs". 8-~~~~~

The only reason the Lib/Dem's polled so many vote's was Nick Clegg's one Good TV debate , and now the Lib/Dem's are sharing power, They are a liability.
I wonder how many poll's that show a overwhelming majority support Cameron's action over Europe, before Stan get's the message.

A few hours before Cameron revealed how he would abstain from voting, he spoke to Clegg who agreed that he Cameron had no choice but to abstain.
And yet less than 48 hours later, Clegg has stated that he would have done things different. Mind you he has not stated what he would have done differently.
With friends like Clegg who needs enemies.
Clegg in nothing more than a back stabbing B*****D.
As soon as things start to settle, IE the EU starts its break up, Cameron should call an election.

Wicked,
I think like you, there is a large number of the public misinformed by the "city" controlled" propaganda sheets, who are as naive as you appear, and delight in "escaping" from those nasty "foreigners" and their "corrupt ideas of cooperation and integration with one another".
The same group may not yet realise that they are dancing on their own coffins.
If you were member the Eurozone block and Britain comes "huffing and puffing" and asking for "favours", I wonder how much you would raise the "costs" for doing so, in comparison with doing the same deal with you more "friendly neighbour". who you can trust and has the same legal procedures.

G,
"Clegg in nothing more than a back stabbing B*****D".
Listening to the reports about the so called Brussels "negotiations", it appeared that Cameron informed Clegg of his decision after he had taken the action.
This was not in the "coalition" agreement and therefore it would appear that Cameron is a "nothing more than a Lying B*****D".

Important point is that the decision was right. UK will be more flexible not being in the europe
we can change our mind later.
Appreciate if you were more polite though. Why are you so upset?

Fred ,
I can understand some people being naive [ I know you wanted to say thick ] but are you saying that over 60% of those polled are racist and simple minded ?
