Socrates - 02 Apr 2007 12:12 - 13951 of 24230

You don't remember the advert then Bunny? Perhaps you are too young!

Big Al - 02 Apr 2007 12:13 - 13952 of 24230

L happen to like quiche and salad with cold meat on the side so no problem.

stockbunny - 02 Apr 2007 12:21 - 13953 of 24230

LOL ;>)

I had an interesting morning yesterday. The youngest. up early as usual, tried to put all the clocks forward 1 hour, the idea was good but the execution fooled nobody. She also moved the temperature control in the shawer to freezing, and hid shoes.

The worst of it was that she tipped of 'she who thinks that she should be obeyed' who is normally an easy target for April fools and has over the years fallen for quite a few, much to the amusement of friends, family and work colleagues.

I am glad mine have outgrown that TIM - my youngest used to occasionally swop the tap tops so cold read hot and hot read cold - sad thing is falling into the bathroom first thing no-one was ever with it enough to realise either the date or why the required tap was on the wrong side of the basin, so he won hands down ;>)

Morning all, well I survived the dentist, she gave me so much anaesthetic I was dribbling for about 2 hours afterwards. I asked my dentist (who is a woman) who were the most frightened patients, men or women, and the answer was 'men but they dot say so, so its hard to do anything to make them feel better'.

Armed with this information I think I will spend the first 10 minutes of any further appointments making sure she is completely aware of how much I dislike pain and injections and drill and those horrible bits of dry stuff they stick in-between your gums and I may also throw in my view on a load more things as well. After that I hope the whole dentist experience will be far better......

Its bright and sunny in Hastings at the moment but I here its wont last long.

A fantastic 17 degrees in sunny Paris. Might go for a stroll by the river at lunch time.

optomistic - 03 Apr 2007 09:12 - 13958 of 24230

Morning Jeff, now stop being so indecisive...do go for a stroll by the river :-)

stockbunny - 03 Apr 2007 09:18 - 13959 of 24230

Spaceman - 03 Apr 2007 09:19 - 13960 of 24230

Seem like I spoke to soon, just had a bit of toast and I had problems with the new filling, so I now have another appointment with her at 1100 !!!

Jeff, nice day to be in Paris, I dont think I will be in Paris for a couple of weeks, my next france trip will be to Aix, for a couple of days, which I am looking forward to as its a lovely place.

stockbunny - 03 Apr 2007 09:22 - 13961 of 24230

Sue 'em Spacie - damn dodgy dental work is no joke! I know these fillings don't last forever but under 24 hours is taking the preverbial!

Spaceman - 03 Apr 2007 09:30 - 13962 of 24230

Bunny, I think (hope!) its just a problem with my bite and the filling is OK, I had so much anaesthetic that I couldnt tell that it wasnt right at the time.

This_is_me - 03 Apr 2007 09:35 - 13963 of 24230

So guess whose bite is worse than his bark.

Spaceman - 03 Apr 2007 09:36 - 13964 of 24230

TIM ;-)

stockbunny - 03 Apr 2007 09:54 - 13965 of 24230

Guess I had better feed TIM with another danish, may stop the bad jokes ;>)

Spaceman - 03 Apr 2007 09:56 - 13966 of 24230

Tea urns is empty again....

bunny, can you save a Danish for me so that I can enjoy it after the dentists!

stockbunny - 03 Apr 2007 10:01 - 13967 of 24230

Of course Spacie :>)

jeffmack - 03 Apr 2007 10:02 - 13968 of 24230

Get them to whip the tooth out, end of trouble

Spaceman - 03 Apr 2007 10:06 - 13969 of 24230

jeff, thanks for that idea ;-)

Actually many years ago I went to the dentists to have a large filling done, during the drilling the tooth broke up and he had to take it it out, but when he was trying to pull it out the roots broke off and he had to dig them out. I think thats whay I hate going to the dentist so much now !!!

Now have you filled that tea urn up yet !!?? ;-)
