Todays lunchtime culinary delight was.....
Yes Haddock fish fingers with white bread and tomato ketchup, I have hidden half of my new white bread stash in the back of the freezer underneath her collection of healthy stuff.

I tried baked beens once, never when soft however long I baked them for. Same with eggs, when I boil them they never get soft.

Talking of eggs...
Friend of mine organised a clown for his 4 year olds birthday party. Clown went through the whole usual routine with the kids totally enthralled. He got to the end of his act and started juggling eggs, lots of eggs... which he then dropped. But it was ok because they all bounced!
Next morning my friend and his wife are woken early (it being Sunday). He wanders downstairs to find out what the noise is to find his 3 year old standing on a stool in front of the fridge systematically trying to find an egg that would bounce.
Don't know which I hate more... kids or clowns.

Good morning all. It is yet another of my long weekends so here I am bright and early. Well, early at least.
I woke up a bit peckish so I thought I would get the cooking underway with a double ration of full English breakfast. Tea and coffee all ready too. There's nothing like a large, steaming mug, as the art mistress said to the bishop!

Hi optomistic,
Probably due to the fact that the coffee house is very busy recently and Socrates is going to do a double FEB. Mind you ,might have to buy another stove to accommodate the frying pans!!!!

Morning all and morning to you Bluelady.
I'm not on a diet as such, but it'd do me know harm to lose a few pounds.
