THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Iran is in deep financial difficulty now, Rial fallen 50% over last two weeks and the price of everything skyrocketed.
People are very negative about the behavior of the government.

The government has no support, internally or externally, in any action against the west.

But, they are stupid enough to start a war.

Twelve of the 14 most wanted foreign criminals at large in Britain are from eastern Europe the Metropolitan Police have revealed.
The fugitives are wanted for a string of crimes including murder, rape, robbery and child sex offences committed abroad before fleeing to the UK.
Six of the criminals are from Poland, four from Romania, with a further one each from Georgia and Albania.

The number of dangerous foreign criminals on the loose across Britain has raised further questions about border controls that were reportedly relaxed for a period last year.

In an effort to trace these dangerous men, Scotland Yard has released their mugshots

Fried food 'fine for heart' if cooked with olive oil

Eating fried food may not be bad for the heart, as long as you use olive or sunflower oil to make it, experts say.

Stan - 25 Jan 2012 07:28 - 14540 of 81564

Never doubted it for a moment.. Now where's that frying pan?

skinny - 25 Jan 2012 07:50 - 14541 of 81564

Sit down in pubs!!!!

Bars where all drinkers stand up should go, say police

greekman - 25 Jan 2012 07:59 - 14542 of 81564

In many pubs that I used to frequent, most of the clientèle had great difficulty standing up.

skinny - 25 Jan 2012 07:59 - 14543 of 81564

Greek - you have to pick a crowded one :-)

Stan - 25 Jan 2012 08:02 - 14544 of 81564

Nothing to do with getting tanked up with cheap booze on an empty stomach before they go out then? and then getting more "a bit dearer booze" later.. All due to doing the above standing up then is it?

Aren't some of our Police forces wonderful?

Any oil heated to a high degree will become a saturated fat! Sorry lads.

aldwickk - 25 Jan 2012 09:19 - 14548 of 81564

Yes , if it starts to smoke its to hot , coconut oil takes longer to smoke then olive oil. Coconut oil is a MCT oil which means even if its high in saturated fat the body doesn't treat it as a fat but as a carbohydrate.

beebusy - 25 Jan 2012 09:19 - 14549 of 81564

Polunsaturated and mono unsaterated fats found in nuts and seed are benifical to the nervous and brain systems as well as cardiovascular systems. They should be kept cool. The only oil that should ever be heated is Olive oil.Veg oils change their structure when heated especially when heated at high temps making then potentially damaging to arteries and the whole cardiovascular system.Lucky boy popeye!! A hot olive!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see Cameron and Ossie are economic successes

Only £1trillion in debt.

They will have to reread the books on biscuit tin accounting and economics.

We are “doomed”.
