Gawd it's getting dangerous round here - got a bunch of cowboys taking down 2 chimneys for the house next door, never mind health and safety, along with no face masks for them, they are lobbing bricks from the top of the scaffold to the floor instead of using a shute or manually bringing them down - bricks bouncing all over the place!

Tea please - all hot and bothered now, just been out and read the riot act about safety having watched a brick decend from roof level and bounce across our front garden. Going for a ciggie!

Bunny
I recall that not too long ago, the company I worked for moved into a new building. Being of a responsible nature, we asked for an inspector to visit and advise us on our safety arrangements. As we were greeting the lady in the car park, she looked up the road to see some work going on at another new building for our neighbour. She promptly walked onto their site and closed it, just like that. Unsafe scaffolding, no safety rails, no hard hats etc.

Hard hats? nope none.....
Thing is where they are dropping them is not on their clients property, its a side alleyway, so technically someone could walk down there from either direction at any time - no warning signs of flying bricks....
(edit) were dropping them, since I've been out they are busy frantically clearing the bricks up and have stopped throwing them down.
