Hadn't thought about the fact that you might be prosecuted. I just thought about how to stop the habit of the kids nicking from the car.

Socs it is only hypothetical.... at the moment. I need to work out a way of making it look realistic!
Bluey, the problem is that the police don't care if someone had to break in and steal something if that item is then potentially dangerous. As far as I'm concerned, I can legally carry laxatives in my car for my own consumption, whereas a mousetrap is a bit too obviously designed to be dangerous to an innoncent thief. I mean as tempting as it is to lace a packet of cigerettes with cyanide, I don't think my views on solving the problems of theft and underage smoking would be supported by the wider community.

But where would be the fun in that? (And I'm not talking about the fun from the car itself :-))

J Stratford, I was going to suggest mothballs as that might add some different form of amusement. Just by sniffing on them the side effects coud be...
An 18-year-old girl who was hospitalized with scaly skin on her hands, elbows and legs, unsteadiness and mental sluggishness shows the risks of sniffing mothballs, French doctors say.
However, on reading the article further.........even more dire consequences could happen as mothballs contain paradichlorobenzene, or PDB, a chemical that can cause liver and kidney failure and severe anemia.
Perhaps not very kind to the kids so it looks as if laxitives might be the solution. And if it not at least it will be amusing.

Unfortunately I'm too caring in that I wouldn't wish to cause long lasting physical harm. The only problem with the laxatives idea is if I forget myself!

Keaydian, are you very handsome? After all that beauty sleep you really ought to be ;0).
Stockbunny and J Stratford, fortunately like Socrate there was no thunder or rain here. Even had to water the flowers.
Ptholden, the golf trolley is behaving itself!!!

Dunno about behaving itself, I have a comp on Wednesday morning and really could do with it back on ground level. Think I'm gonna get a stepladder or perhaps shoot it down with an elephant gun!!

Why would you want to shoot it down with an elephant gun? Why not just climb on the elephant's back and get it down that way? I assume the competition on Wed. is really true? Good luck with it.
