JStratford - 09 Jul 2007 15:33 - 16719 of 24230

How anyone can sleep through this Thunder is beyond me.

stockbunny - 09 Jul 2007 17:20 - 16720 of 24230

It's pretty hefty stuff....fork lightning......but not overhead thankfully.

Socrates - 09 Jul 2007 18:40 - 16721 of 24230

Thunder, what thunder?

KEAYDIAN - 09 Jul 2007 19:00 - 16722 of 24230

zzzz phew zzzz, eh thunder, I thought it was the chicken jalfrezi I had last night.

Bluelady - 10 Jul 2007 00:05 - 16723 of 24230

Keaydian, are you very handsome? After all that beauty sleep you really ought to be ;0).

Stockbunny and J Stratford, fortunately like Socrate there was no thunder or rain here. Even had to water the flowers.

Ptholden, the golf trolley is behaving itself!!!

ptholden - 10 Jul 2007 00:09 - 16724 of 24230

Dunno about behaving itself, I have a comp on Wednesday morning and really could do with it back on ground level. Think I'm gonna get a stepladder or perhaps shoot it down with an elephant gun!!

pth

Bluelady - 10 Jul 2007 00:20 - 16725 of 24230

Why would you want to shoot it down with an elephant gun? Why not just climb on the elephant's back and get it down that way? I assume the competition on Wed. is really true? Good luck with it.

Bluelady - 10 Jul 2007 00:34 - 16726 of 24230

Ptholden, one elephant with gun ready to shoot at the golf trolley.

JStratford - 10 Jul 2007 08:15 - 16727 of 24230

Morning all. Tea's on.

Socrates - 10 Jul 2007 08:29 - 16728 of 24230

Good morning all, I'll start with a FEB and go on from there.

PTH, I've taken pity on you and asked Pru to remove your trolley from the light fitting, in fact he is just coming up the garden path with his step ladder now. A few minutes and you should be able to start some practice swings, but please not in the cafe, can't have golf balls bouncing of the walls, too hazardous to health.

stockbunny - 10 Jul 2007 08:53 - 16729 of 24230

Cheers and morning chaps - one piping hot cuppa for the bunny please :>)
I've bought the croissants and danish........warming now....

optomistic - 10 Jul 2007 08:55 - 16730 of 24230

Morning all.

JStratford - 10 Jul 2007 09:02 - 16731 of 24230

You know, I wish I could start with FEB again... I've got 500 pages to write for the end of the month, so if we could go back a bit then I'd have more time again. Added to that I'd know not to waste my time on other events that happened in FEB :-)

ptholden - 10 Jul 2007 09:09 - 16732 of 24230

Gee thanks Socs, a great relief :)

Socrates - 10 Jul 2007 09:18 - 16733 of 24230

No problem PTH, but what are the other golfers going to think of a person with a chandelier attached to their golf trolley, a bit OTT isn't it?

optomistic - 10 Jul 2007 09:22 - 16734 of 24230

Liberace reincarnated :-)
