seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 14:07 - 1819 of 7811

Didn't you just unload them? brjk!!

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 14:10 - 1820 of 7811

brjk - buy in at 55p. That may not come this week but therer is not much on the horizon for them so you need the bottom to make a profit at the top.

Judging by what happened with them recently, you may have to wait for the 66p again.

All imho, etc...doo dah doo dah dey

proptrade - 17 Nov 2004 14:12 - 1821 of 7811

Near the end of another day boy's. LOL with your new ones DD. BPRG ??

I took the safe route and topped up SEY. Can't get my head around dinner not very hungry. Now what I need is something to sharpen my appetite say a wee dram. I'm suddenly feeling peckish.

daves dazzlers - 17 Nov 2004 16:33 - 1827 of 7811

I am going out for the night, dont no where, and dont care, just out.

bright & early in the morning,,i cant see me being early, rough as a bear yes.

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 16:37 - 1828 of 7811

I do not need any more SEY, so what do I do?

MS gets 17.somehting, I had to stalk it all afternoon, for some reason I kept getting an 18p ask.

By the end of the day 10k more at 17.92p, probably at 16.30 too.

What do points make?????

These are a relatively short term hold.

I will either do well and be rich or I will have dreams of what might have been.

If I did not have faith that Institutions know what they are doing, as well as SEY Management, the latter of which I think are business geniuses, I would have nightmares with the amount I have now invested in them.

I have a little cash left now, but that is to be put on the outsider in the 4.20pm at Haydock Park if all goes wrong.

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 16:37 - 1829 of 7811

I think you have good holdings there Dave, and I wish you luck again!

mickeyskint - 17 Nov 2004 16:39 - 1830 of 7811

Bit of a din dog going on with SEY. Someone's not a believer. These are reply's to his negative postings:

so why do people think the Big Boys were busting a gut to get in on the 17p placing.
i'll tell you why:
whats the future worth as the official partner of the Mauritanian Government on ALL future developments?
the transaction requiring the placing is a LOAN.130mill to come back in 2 years!
they don't get interest, they get 70% of the revenue instead.
SEY have positioned themselves to become the most obvious takeover target in the oil and gas industry.
you take your choice,i know where my money is.

when Harry Wilson says a deal is stunning, believe you me it is.
anyone who knows him will tell you that.

Long term to my mind the deal with the government for Chinguetti is big news . And lets not forget that the special status SEY have been given by the government could lead to further deals.
However short term the thing that is going to lift the share price and for which I have high hopes is the Tiof field. Appraisal work is ongoing there and we should see I think an updated estimate of the millions of barrels of oil there at some point in the new year. This should be the trigger for a significant rise if it hasn't occured already by then.
In the very short term i.e. now, we are waiting on confirmation that the Chinguetti deal has been approved and signed. This looks to be a formality. Any remaining fears that the sp will dip further towards the expected placing price of 17p should very soon disappear and the sp resume its upward trend.

daves dazzlers - 17 Nov 2004 16:45 - 1832 of 7811

SW,bang on 30,000 all paper , so there`s some consultation ,they can always go on the wall if it goes belly up,,well i did say brjk was as dull as gray pants

there`s a lot to say about gray pants,,there safe,good night all,time for a scrub..

mickeyskint - 17 Nov 2004 16:47 - 1833 of 7811

Just a thought but if SEY were a take over target what woiuld they (the shares) be worth. Perhaps the more technically minded of you could crunch the numbers.

Thanks

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Whew, nothing like a good belly laugh!

All imho & dyor, at least once a day.

(Speak to Dave for info!)

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 19:00 - 1835 of 7811

Yep a takeover target for sure as predicted by yours truely way back near the start of this thread.

Whatever price it is at add 30 to 40% should it ever raise it's head.

Me I hope it never happens.

This is too good for someone else to snaffle it up.

So leave it alone you snake in the grass.

I'll set my dog on you.........Get off my land!

Get him Fang...........
