Square Miler - 06 Dec 2013 00:16

Stellar Resources PLC has an experienced team of Directors who have all been involved in the acquisition and management of companies and assets in a number of industries with particular experience in natural resources.

On 23 November 2011 the company changed its investment strategy to include the natural resources sector; the company aims to provide a superior return by investing in exploration, development and production assets in the minerals and/or hydrocarbons sector.

In December 2011 Stellar Resources PLC acquired 49% of Gold Mines of Wales Ltd who holds a license to explore 120 square kilometres of the famous Dolgellau Gold belt in North Wales.

Latest News and Developments

Earlier in 2013 the company recorded impressive assay results from the Clogau mine where underground grab samples ranged from 263 grams/tonne of gold to 11.65 grams/tonne.A total of 16 of the 31 samples assayed were better than 31 grams per tonne,15 were above 62 grams and 10 above 93 grams.

Independent consultants Snowden report there could be as many as 500,000 ounces of gold lying untapped within the area of interest.

The company stated its aim to commence a trial mining plan before the end of 2013.

Been watching stellar for quite a few months now and think they could be preparing
to start that trial mining in wales shortly. They just got cashed up to the tune of
nearly £3m via recent placings so could be ready to get going.

Possibly some tidy gains to be had here.

News out yesterday that stellar are looking at a new investment, might be one to
watch from here as company have a fair cashpile and no debt and a very low
market cap.

Friday 6th December 2013

Stellar Resources is reviewing a number of potential investment opportunities, inparticular in advanced
high-quality and near-term coal opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

David Lenigas, Stellar's Chairman, commented:

"The board is considering a number of potential coal projects in the Asia Pacific region that are at an
advanced stage of pre-production with a view to investing in a project or projects that are near to
or in production."

Hi Robbie

Yes that news on a potential new producing coal asset was a nice suprise, having been
following mr lenigas for a while now he does seem to adopt the phrase " never miss an
opportunity to miss an opportunity" .And as he knows quite a few eyes are on stellar
now for the imminent update from wales - to put something new in to the mix in terms
of a new producing asset has made this quite an exciting punt.

Mr Lenigas has been doing some cracking deals lately and has clearly upped his game
and is working with some new contacts, for example that lithium play he landed for
REM for a very small outlay shows that the unexpected can happen.

Market cap here at stellar is only around £4m at present so watch this space.
