GF,

It would be a pity to attempt to close this thread.

I don't contribute as I am sceptical of my charting abilities, but I do follow the thread and think many other "sleeping posters" do like wise..

One of problems with market at the moment is the volatility and the wiser ones may have their cash in their pockets.

======

I appreciate the hard work you and some others have put into it!

gf,--------I agree with Fred, I'm no good with charts either but look here daily, I also appreciate the work done by you and other posters.

Dont get me wrong Fred Im not wanting any sympathy or anything like that Im not that type, it just comes down to the time factor a lot more time than people give you credit for. Dont forget theres all the filtering to do before posting a chart the research time that goes in, I spend at least 2/3 hours per night just to get one or two charts that I think will make money.

But If we are getting people taking the Pi-s and implying its useless and others who take and dont give back, I cant see the pluses of keeping it open.

sutherlh1 - 26 Sep 2014 09:46 - 2141 of 2763

I read the tread every day and have made some good investments as a result. Agree the research takes a lot of time and I don't contribute because the work is of such a high quality and it is well above my feeble charting and investment abilities. Thanks for all the work, H

Sympathy without relief is not much use.

But I would miss the thread!

ExecLine - 26 Sep 2014 10:20 - 2143 of 2763

Your thread here is extremely well appreciated. I generally visit it a few times a day. Why? Well because it is not useless and I can get some great tips.

But I wouldn't get too upset just because someone tried to be humorous and says on another thread, "What chart thread?"

Ha ha. Bleeding ha ha ha. :-)

Of late, the market is pretty crap and it's perhaps not the time at all to be taking a long position on anything. Thus enthusiasm levels are just a bit down at the moment. If you go in long then something else just might happen to pull it all straight back down again and before you can do jack shit about it.

That's the main reason no one is posting on here.

Shortie - 26 Sep 2014 10:32 - 2144 of 2763

GF had you have said 'my Chart Attacks thread' then my initial response would have been different.

Chris Carson - 26 Sep 2014 10:47 - 2145 of 2763

Well it made me laugh gf :0)

Trust you to throw your dolly out the pram, you tart.

But there was no malice in it, this is an excellent thread.

cynic - 26 Sep 2014 11:19 - 2146 of 2763

sticky - i think it would be a shame to close this thread
though i rarely contribute, i certainly read those of others, and sometimes even act on them

kimoldfield - 26 Sep 2014 13:36 - 2147 of 2763

Agreed. Thread staying open yes?! Aw, go on, keep it going! :o)

Fred1new - 26 Sep 2014 14:15 - 2148 of 2763

Shortie,

Actually, "My Heart Attacks" thread might have drawn more attention!

But possibly too short lived!
