On 18 May'09 there was news of StatoilHydro has reached agreement with BPC to become the
operator of three offshore exploration licences

Chief Operating Officer Paul Crevello said :
"Some of the structures are very large. There is potential for multiple 500 million cubic meter (of reserves) fields,"
"BPC was also interested in "farming out" to partners its remaining five licences offshore Bahamas."

Now at 3.75p, Broker Fox-davies has a 13p price target on the company.

quick buck on XEL this morning was wonderful instant gratification - provided i remember to *ank!

Cashed in on the bandwagon.....not sure about this....no drilling for a year at least....market cap as much as Northern Petroleum....who has a heck of a lot of assets and produces as well .....(just to compare).....so will watch...might be too soon...but this could just be a spike before coming back down to 7 or 8p.....

The looming oil shortage plus hope that there actually is a total 17 billion barrels of oil in the BPC acreage! There is not likely to be any drilling done until the end of 2011 or sometime in 2012 so this is a long term hold. It should be good for trading before then though.

** Fund raising recently successfully completed and co. are net cash US$6mln.
** No further need for equity injection and will instead seek farm-outs:
** Structure likely involve farming down 75% of single blocks in return for

Look....you could buy the oil rights to any island somewhere, start up an oil company...get a dodgy seismic and a reliable good guy from the oil industry in....float it...pump and dump it and hey presto !...you're anchored with your new bathtub next to Lord Sugar in Monaco !
Now I'm not saying this is all nonsense but these estimates have to be taken with a pinch of salt....
