Guys,
Alex is just finishing the restarts you should be able to access on a refresh, in a few moments if you have not already.

Ian,
Is the site being so slow of late linked to the general problem that's being sorted, IE the mentioned re-vamp.

Greek,
I cannot say I have noticed any slowness of note of late - let me know if this happens for you again - and no if you are seeing slowness, it would not be linked to anything we are currently doing.
PW, can you close your browser and try again?

Greekman: looks like this Market Maker to Market Maker code has now ceased under the MiFid regulations
From our data supllier -"I just got off the phone with London Stock Exchange. I spoke to Jackie from Market Supervision department who confirmed that the Market Maker to Market Maker Trade Type indicator has been in fact discontinued in relation to new MIFID regulations. "
From the LSE
"Mike,
With the introduction of MiFID, we introduced new trade types which are shown on page 51 of the document below:
http://wwwlondonstockexchange.com/NR/rdonlyres/44822E88-5CAC-4549-BF48-21558F2FB87A/0/MiFIDServiceandTechnicalDescription.pdf
The trade type of 'M' (market maker to market maker trades) no longer exists, it would be replaced by one in the document above, however there is no direct replacement so when a member firm now executes a trade he must determine if it is "on" exchange or "off" exchange and if "on" exchange then he would need to meet the pre-trade transparency rules (outlined by MiFID) or non transparent which would be a negotiated trade type.
A market maker placing a "bargain" would now just use an "O" trade type."

Ian, Everything is taking forever to load. To open this thread took over a minute and it takes an age to post a message. Tried logging out and back in but made no difference. Stockwatch similarly slow. Not having problems with any other sites.

jj,
I can confirm that we are not having any problems at the moment - you may wan tto try a resatrt on your machine, and the other usual culprits of clearing out your temp internet files etc. to see whether this makes any difference,

Bullshare,
OK many thanks for the update anyway.
Ian,
Re slowness. If it assists it often occurs when I initially try to open the site and also on trying to open links. As previously stated, another similar site works no prob.
It may of course be my end, although with the other site having no prob, I can't see how.
Hope this helps, re jj50' problem if it's the same.
No need to reply unless you discover something your end.

Ian,
Any news on the price feed for STI (Stratex Mining)?
I posted a couple of weeks ago and you were going to check with your provider. Corporate news on STI fed through okay last week, but no pricing.
Thanks

Ian,
Again on initial opening of MoneyAm 'World Hotels' popped up again. Is this going to be a regular occurrence.
Alan,
Re the blue navigation problem. I think it was general as I got same a couple of times. OK now though

Alan,
Let me know if you see this again and where you see it as I cannot reproduce it here.
Mr Turbot,
We will chase our suppliers - it is to do with a little known sector being allocated the same epic.
Greek,
Yes, you will see that advert on the front page when you come to the site,

Ian,
I dont have any prob re the advert being on the front page, but it came up as a pop up (it opened in a different page) when I click on Stockwatch or Traders links.
It has not happened today, but will let you know if it does,
