Ian, Everything is taking forever to load. To open this thread took over a minute and it takes an age to post a message. Tried logging out and back in but made no difference. Stockwatch similarly slow. Not having problems with any other sites.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 31 Jan 2008 09:05 - 269 of 599

jj,

I can confirm that we are not having any problems at the moment - you may wan tto try a resatrt on your machine, and the other usual culprits of clearing out your temp internet files etc. to see whether this makes any difference,

Ian

Bullshare,

OK many thanks for the update anyway.

Ian,

Re slowness. If it assists it often occurs when I initially try to open the site and also on trying to open links. As previously stated, another similar site works no prob.
It may of course be my end, although with the other site having no prob, I can't see how.
Hope this helps, re jj50' problem if it's the same.
No need to reply unless you discover something your end.

Greek.

Ian,

Any news on the price feed for STI (Stratex Mining)?
I posted a couple of weeks ago and you were going to check with your provider. Corporate news on STI fed through okay last week, but no pricing.

Thanks

Ian,

Again on initial opening of MoneyAm 'World Hotels' popped up again. Is this going to be a regular occurrence.

Alan,

Re the blue navigation problem. I think it was general as I got same a couple of times. OK now though

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2008 06:56 - 277 of 599

Alan,

Let me know if you see this again and where you see it as I cannot reproduce it here.

Mr Turbot,

We will chase our suppliers - it is to do with a little known sector being allocated the same epic.

Greek,

Yes, you will see that advert on the front page when you come to the site,

Ian

greekman - 01 Feb 2008 07:53 - 278 of 599

Ian,

I dont have any prob re the advert being on the front page, but it came up as a pop up (it opened in a different page) when I click on Stockwatch or Traders links.
It has not happened today, but will let you know if it does,

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2008 07:54 - 279 of 599

Greek,

Sorry I meant it will pop up from the front page.

Ian

hewittalan6 - 01 Feb 2008 07:58 - 280 of 599

Ian,
Getting it now.
Point my browser to www.moneyam.com and I get the 2 navigation bars and the legend MoneyAm is currently unavailable, however all buttons work including the home page one.
Alan

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2008 08:00 - 281 of 599

Alan,

I cannot reproduce that here - it could be a cached page - can you clear out your temporary internet files and see if that makes a difference, Also are you accessing through a stored favourite? If so could you try just typing www.moneyam.com directly into the address bar please?

Ian

greekman - 01 Feb 2008 08:04 - 282 of 599

OK Ian fully understand now. I appreciate MoneyAm need advert revenue, although I am not happy with this being a pop up. Will just have to put up with it.

hewittalan6 - 01 Feb 2008 08:06 - 283 of 599

Ian,
cache deleted and typed address rather than favourites, but it is still there.
Its no great issue to me though.
Alan

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2008 08:07 - 284 of 599

Ala,

Not sure what is causing that to be honest - it is a standard down page, but we have not had any problems when you have been getting this (which lead me to believe it may be a cached page). Could you send me a screen shot (prnt screen and then paste in a E mail), just so I can make sure it is the page I think it is and I will try to advise you from there,

Ian

hewittalan6 - 01 Feb 2008 08:09 - 285 of 599

Will do, Ian, but please don't lose any sleep over it!!!!

hewittalan6 - 01 Feb 2008 08:11 - 286 of 599

Erm,
Somebody remind me again how to print screen.
I found the button but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Doh!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2008 08:12 - 287 of 599

Alan,

Press the print screen button and then in the body of an E mail right click and select paste.
