It is pointing that there is a sindicate shorting the stock every so often, on todays trading pattern

I personally do not hold or short RKH at this stage

cynic - 13 Oct 2010 16:14 - 3235 of 6294

Pros ..... i take abuse in my stride, but thanks ...... i know from the past that Ian takes appropriate action when he feels necessary without need of a prompt ..... MRSI just displays himself in all his blazing true colours for all to see, so should i care?

=============

more to the point i should have stuck to my target of +/-400 with this morning's buy and banked that nice little profit ...... greed bit my bum, but no real harm done and i guess i'll stay put for now

============

just managed to resist the temptation to buy more at the last minute ...... it's probably not a bad bet, but a pretty silly risk to take o'night

I'm going long a bit more.....took some profit this morning....am I glad I sold all my stock in DES and RKH...!.

yuff - 13 Oct 2010 17:05 - 3237 of 6294

I just posted on DES thread that AMER is a safer bet at present. If you are making money take profits and go to an onshore E&P with very good prospects.

MSRI you do know his religion-after all I asked the question about one of your earlier demeaning posts.

cynic - 13 Oct 2010 17:10 - 3238 of 6294

of course he does; he just wants to pretend (protest) innocence, but so do most convicted, so it is said

Proselenes - 13 Oct 2010 17:19 - 3239 of 6294

Personally I do not read too much into these things. It was said on III by BH that there would be another RKH RNS before Rachel results, and that was last week.

So this update has been planned to be released pre-Rachel regardless of the results of Rachel.

RKH IMO are being smart, they are getting this out pre-Rachel, if Rachel is good it will be forgotten.

If Rachel is bad then RKH can release a new RNS not long after Rachel news with all the details of the new prospects they fleetingly mentioned today. Full update on those new leads.

So I see it purely as good housekeeping by RKH and making sure, either way, their news releases leave something up the sleeve to knacker the shorters with.

I can see you can not have a rest to the item this morning, so only a remainder to you point ........

re - MRSI just displays himself in all his blazing true colours for all to see, so should i care?

Ofcourse you do otherwise you would not repply on such a way.

Its eassier to see someone else fault but yourself, though was clearly visible for me or us.

But I am glad at the end you post was a bit more positive ( greed bit my bum, ) I thought you were on that category.

So I will extend my hand with an olives_19th_century_diagram.gif for tomorrow and forget today.

edit - just noticed 2 more post that I did not know when typping, but I will not repply as I am already late.

cynic - 13 Oct 2010 17:20 - 3241 of 6294

hali ...... guess(???) you're right, though quite when guessed becomes proven, i'm not sure ....

a technical report scheduled to be published by the end of the year won't now be published until the second half of 2011 because RKH's consultants told RKH that if the report was produced today the resource estimate would be about 30% lower than 242 million barrels.

hilary - 13 Oct 2010 17:21 - 3242 of 6294

Any chance of some subtitles? That last post (3240) is a load of meaningless gobbledegook.

cynic - 13 Oct 2010 17:26 - 3243 of 6294

hilary .... not worth the effort; just that MRSI has been pretty abusive during the day, casting a number of unwarranted slurs on my integrity ...... his (attitude) prob, not mine, that's all

hilary - 13 Oct 2010 17:30 - 3244 of 6294

Oh OK, cyners, thanks. I won't bother to read the rest of the thread then.

It would be nice if he could write in English though. I re-read his post half a dozen times and it still made no sense whatsoever.

Marky, is that an increase, decrease or new posi?

markymar - 13 Oct 2010 22:19 - 3248 of 6294

Harry it reads to me that thay have increased their holding, i am told from some one who went to this presentation last night in London that the Sea Lion fan may have up to 8 not 4 fans.

Also Between 83mts and 88 mts net pay modelled (best fit) about 5 kms away from sea lion location drill.

This is all Very postive stuff i dont know why we got that RNS today....still dont understand it.

One hand is doing one thing the other hand is saying some thing totaly diffrent.

Proselenes - 14 Oct 2010 03:54 - 3249 of 6294

Put on the AFN DES thread as a reply to agna's question over Rachel and Sea Lion, any links or implications if Rachel is a duster for DES...............

Agna, although Rachel is circa similar depths its actually younger than Sea Lion and they are not the same age.

It was confirmed with DB that the two are not one, they are separate, Sea Lion older and Rachel younger (its just Rachel has been pushed deeper to the levels of the Sea Lion fans).

Therefore any failure at Rachel should have little implication if any to Sea Lion, what it will do is have serious implications for the DES acreage again, as Liz did with the other license area.

If Rachel fails I can see DES trying the all or nothing Jacinta and then taking a break and letting RKH take the drill again for 2 wells before DES then take 2 of the RKH drill slots (to be confirmed 3+5).

Jacinta is a bit all or nothing really, so I think they will take a break and then look at Elaine and ignore for now Ninky/Anna as Ninky is too small without another find first and Anna is "that side".

So thats my guess, should Rachel fail DES will drill Jacinta in an attempt to get lucky with a high risk one and will then pause, let RKH do at least one Sea Lion appraisal in a slot swap.

I think you did the right thing agna in derisking. Ultimately if Rachel fails DES have 2 license area's with 2 failures, a lot of targets now written off and really only the high risk stab in the dark with Jacinta left to try before they might have to change targets again.

If Rachel comes in then there is reason to try Ninky and they will have enough confidence to try Anna to try to resurrect sentiment in that license area.

Really is tough times ahead for DES if Rachel fails, but going back to your original post to me, no, Rachel is too young to have any implications on Sea Lion. Rachel has serious implications for many other DES prospects, but due to Sea Lion being much older it has no implications for that, all it will mean is that the younger fan type like Rachel is not charged/charged with water or whatever if that is the case of a duster, which will put the hunt firmly on for older fans only, of the Sea Lion type.

All IMO, DYOR !
