Not quite a gusher yet :)

fred49 - 14 Jul 2016 15:45 - 350 of 523

45p is the next calling station. So much potential in the pipeline. Good luck to all holders.

driver - 14 Jul 2016 16:59 - 351 of 523

If the next call was 45p we would all be jumping on this, this could go either way when the results of the drilling are fully out. These oilers are a big gamble take a look at GKP

fred49 - 14 Jul 2016 18:41 - 352 of 523

This is not GKP. 45p within 10 days.

fred49 - 19 Jul 2016 23:32 - 353 of 523

it could reach 45p 2 days early.

fred49 - 29 Jul 2016 22:32 - 354 of 523

Martini - 01 Aug 2016 19:52 - 359 of 523

Sold half and running the rest. Never a bad thing to take some profit.

kimoldfield - 02 Aug 2016 07:43 - 360 of 523

Very wise, unless you did like me and sold way too soon!!😒

dreamcatcher - 02 Aug 2016 18:05 - 361 of 523

StockMarketWire.com
Sound Energy has confirmed a significant gas discovery and a potential single gas column at its Tendrara licence, onshore Morocco. As previously announced, the first Tendrara well, TE-6, was drilled to a measured vertical depth of 2,665m, encountered the top of the structure and approximately 28m of net gas pay in the TAGI reservoir.

The company has now completed operations and is delighted to announce that it has on 7 August 2016 achieved a stabilized gas flow rate, post stimulation, of 17.0 MMscf/d (0.5 million scm/d).

"This is significantly above initial expectations and represents a highly commercial rate," Sound Energy said in a statement.

"The Company is also very pleased to report a reservoir bottom hole pressure of 420 bars and that the static pressure recorded in the well correlates, in terms of gas gradient, with all of the wells previously drilled in the licence area."

The combination of these factors together with the fact that none of the historically drilled wells on the licence have identified a gas/water contact, suggests the possibility of a significant gas column within a continuous extended structure.

This structure may include and extend beyond the reservoir identified at TE-2, some 30km to the North East. A further well (the Company's third well - TE-8) will be required at the edge of the potential structure to confirm this and is now being planned for later this year.

The Company, together with Schlumberger, is now preparing for the second well at Tendrara (TE-7, located approximately 1.3km from TE-6) using sub-horizontal drilling techniques which are expected to significantly increase the individual well flow rate in a success case.

This will be followed by an extended well test. The rig-up process at TE-7 is already complete and drilling is expected to commence during August 2016.

TE-6 will be suspended until the results of TE-7 are confirmed.

:)

Bullshare - 08 Aug 2016 11:04 - 365 of 523

Listened to the conf call just held. James is talking value of company up, as he would, and it could be £10 plus per share in due course. Fairly balanced discussion.

kimoldfield - 08 Aug 2016 11:09 - 366 of 523

Hmm, still got a few but sold the majority way, way too soon. Still a profit is a profit!

Off thread, haven't had time to do an in depth research but CPT looks interesting. I will be looking closer when I have time later this week, by which time it will probably be £50 of course! 😀

kimoldfield - 08 Aug 2016 11:31 - 367 of 523

Found a bit of time, started a CPT thread! The company shows promise but more research is advisable, sooner rather than later maybe!
