This is the new resting place for Stanelco, the wonder producer of starch-based food-trays...only they didn't catch on.Over the last 10 years to 2010 the 0.1p shares traded abour 2.5p then shot up to 24p during 2005 with promise of Tray-Trials I understand. Within a year or so, they fell to new depths and finished at 0.2p Of course they were full-list then and some were held in ISA's hoping there would be a big profit...only now these are distressed sales as the Company slunk off to AIM, presumably "...to provide better shareholder-value"
Perhaps someone closer to the Co. can explain why the new name is Biome
....rhymes with Home. Often it is done to remove the previous sp-history.
Could it be..so new investors can bask in ignorance, etc. I'm not aware of any "change" in fortune for SEO, rather the reverse.
In my limited experience, the longer the name of a company the longer you have to wait for any return...Huh . . . . . .

EDIT ( 24April2017)- "just woken up" -me not BIOME - sp is 154, but I note about June 2013 there was what looks like a CONsolidation . . do I recall many LT investors were sold-short?... as I believe the (new share) numbers were terrible! . . . Anyone?

Yes it looks like around £53,000 has been spent on buying these shares.

Why! Its being rumoured that the company is being sold on E-bay later today!

Perhaps Biome should be looking to head hunt for someone dynamic to sit on their board, someone who has just retired from the highest echelon of their previous profession perhaps!

with like 5,885,000,000 shares in issue it'll cost them more in postage then shareholders will actuly receive.

For those who feel sympathy for the bank depositors in Cyprus re the 9% or 6% enforced haircut (and I do for the resident depositors) they should look at how the Biome SP has fallen over the last few years.
'Haircut', feels more like a scalping!

Results were scheduled to be out today, but no sign yet, still there is time.

They could have yet another cunning plan.

They could release the results after the market closes, that way the board could fly half way round the world, (do they have a company jet, Biome 1 perhaps) and hiding on some remote island by the time the market opens tomorrow.

Perhaps the money spent this year has gone on a private jet, after all it often makes sense to have a plane on stand-by so successful companies can zoom round the world at short notice doing deals and signing contracts.

Op's forgot, we are talking about Biome!
