On 3rd July PFC announced that it was trading well ahead of expectations. Not surprisingly, sp jumped but has now fallen back pretty much to the same level as before the announcement.
While perhaps not as exciting as finding the next Cairn, remember that in the goldrush days, it was rarely the prospectors who made the money, but rather the suppliers of the spades and tents and stuff - e.g. Levis if memory serves me aright.

magicjoe - Got it target 1525, be a cracking trade if it comes off. So why the war? Surely Stan or anybody else is allowed to take the opposite view to yours if they wish,. without being subjected to a shed load of abuse above.

abuse? better look back
who is paying your wages?
but is true or not!
someone going for the divi without giving a thought about if is the right time to buy
is a person I will not employ at my company.
re - target
well 1525p or about, that was just a round figure without much look at chart
but still good the about as 1535p
I would have short the stock at 1650p as the day before could not hold the previous intraday high and open lower
target - 1535p
and stop loss at 1700p
note - I do not short, but getting encourage for the future, using the same tactics ( short term charting ) on going LONG

magicjoe - Didn't realise Stan was applying for a job at your company :O) Why should you give a toss anyway?
Seriously mate, I haven't the time or inclination to discuss your aversion to shorting or your tactics re (short term charting) on going LONG, other than if you are confident seems to me a missed opportunity to make money. None of my business.
Seems a mystery to me why you get yourself so worked up (not medically qualified) if other people have a different opinion than yourself on stocks. Sad really because a lot of what you do say makes a lot of sense. But then, whether posting as your current username or countless others, first sign of someone asking the question, red mist ascends, you stop taking the tablets and this illness kicks in, banned again. Shame.

re - tables
I am tables free not even 1/2 aspirine that they say is good at certain age ( not sweet sixteen any longer )
Thinking back at earlier age that younters use to take all sorts of them to get high, I would not get into such habit, mainly because i would not trust their content, I did my highs at the disco, with red wine ( good for your heart ) Guiness and maybe some whisky at the end if full of liquid.
some times over here it is a bit of piss taking on my part when I see some comments about shares that I realised they have no idea.
I can see certain knowlegde on your assestment, someting I can not say for others

I did not wanted
but you can have it, one never knows what tomorrow will be.
done this morning

a 61.8% fibonacci retracement gives 1535p and if is fast then could be the end of the bottom line also.
today almost reached the 38.2% already 1590p

very different styles of presentation - e.g. i don't think Tanks ever used cartoons and coloured type etc etc ..... not nearly so personally abusive either

there's lots and lots of different sorts of charts and adherents to all of them ...... however, while sp remains in upward trend, as PFC clearly is, then both the upper and lower "limits" of all of these charts will also continue to rise - as indeed they have

Agree 100% Cynic, I am not short at the moment missed the boat, but there is plenty of scope for a short trade still if history continues to repeat itself re the indicators above and if you are a follower of tramlines. Stock will still be in an uptrend if this continues to happen. Just my opinion, this is a cracking stock.
