Sorry its Ortac Resources and I started watching having noted a level of interest from others with some fairly hefty investments in August. It had a lift two weeks ago which triggered a minor feeding frenzy. Now seems to have settled down again.Wouldnt have thought much will happen through the winter months but April-May 2011 should be interesting.News is as usual scarce.

aldickk that is a good suggestion perhaps you would start a new thread and I'd be very grateful if you would start a thread for ATUK which is my 2011 hot pick as I am a techno dinosaur!! cheers.

Well as per usual they released an upgrade on the site surveys which caused the s.p to drop.Maybe it was not the level expected??

Mining seems to be on a rollercoaster ride at the moment but what strikes me is that compared to when I first bought in the declared resources have increased by 50% +/- but the s.p is half of my first purchase price! Is this down to world trading conditions? Or lack of confidence? The area seems to be more stable than some others in Europe at the moment. So which one of you clever clogs will produce some answers (probably the ones that can put up charts!!) All I know is that I switch on this infernal machine with trembling hand and bated breath these days!!!

beebusy of course the worlds mess that its in is having a detrimental effect on most s/p's especialy Gold miners(Gold relative to what its being sold at), but companies like OTC are been unfairly valued and it needs sentiment to change to the positive, when that will be is anyones guess? but they've plenty of money in the bank and just had an upgrade in JORC with still plenty more to come...
PS: of course the s/p was(and maybe still is) being manipulated to allow the likes of Henderson to get cheap shares!!..

Thanks GB seems a fair enough slant on things. Just goes to show, you can do all the sums but who knows what goes on that we have no control over.I have been whittling my portfolio down, going into property. seems like the markets are heading to hell on a ice cube!!

Interesting news on the draw down from Hendersons who own 11% of otc, having been well and truly burnt with Gladstone(Clive Palmer) I suspect anything even remotely Australian!! But on the other hand they are in an all ready cash rich position. My evil mouse hand has upped my stake by 20% but at the slightest sniff of Hendersons moving in my mule and I are heading into the sunset!!

Yes a good RNS today but as usual you get the sell on news brigade, Got a write up in the Daily Express today, so it looks like the PR dept are starting to get the story out to the wider investment comunity..
Henderson definetly have confidence in the OTC story, what with their 11+% shareholding and now their investment arm!!....

Well here we are into July with a brief rally up 13% only to subside back into the doldrums. They say that no news is good news?? but in this case a small NUGGET would be acceptable. But I suppose we will have to be content with the CEO talking up a good investment while he trousers our cash. Bitter?? Me???

Based on the facts available at the time seemed like a good punt. Now they are my biggest book loss. It would seem every time they publish a RNS the sp drops.I think its another Gladstone waiting to happen.

Its amazing what creatures of habit we all are. For instance every morning at the open of play somebody sells 250,000 otc.Not strange in itself because if the price was right mine would go in a trice. But this goes back for weeks even months!! Scully, they are out there!!!
