- you can buy a copy of some excellent notes for 300$ or wait a month and do it through the court disclosure request for a transcript- then again all the rodneys on the board have got legal advice to show Excalibur didnt have a case - when errrr - dont envisage it being a clear cut decision - due to the multiples involved - perhaps even an appeal -

Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) High Representative to the United Kingdom, has said the KRG would consider establishing an independent state if a civil war erupts in Iraq and dictatorship rules the country.

In an interview with Today's Zaman, Rahman underlined that the KRG would separate from Iraq under two conditions: “First is a civil war. We would never be a party of a civil war. The second is Iraq's returning to old days of dictatorship because our people suffered a lot during dictatorships of the past. So, it would be more likely for us to separate from Iraq.

The leadership of Kurdistan frequently floats the idea of independence in case what they call Baghdad's “authoritarian practices” continue against Arbil. The armies of both sides have briefly clashed along the line of contact in several cities in the past few months and tensions are running high due to an oil pipeline Kurdistan is planning to build to Turkey. BAGHDAD / NINA / the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Martin Kobler welcomed the meeting, which would be held between Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and KRG President Nechirvan Barzani in Baghdad tomorrow.

He said in a press statement: "Sitting together and engage in a constructive spirit is the best way to overcome the problems in this critical phase experienced by the country."

He added that: "the parties should address all outstanding issues, such as the true partnership, security, budget, and revenue sharing in transparent and frank and permanently."

Kobler expressed hope that "this meeting will contribute to long-term solutions based on the Constitution to overcome the current crisis in Iraq, and contributes in retune the Kurds' Ministers again to the Cabinet's meeting in the nearest time."

It is scheduled that a high level Kurdish delegation will visit Baghdad tomorrow headed by Prime Minister of the Region, Nechirvan Barzani for a meeting with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in order to reach satisfactory solutions on the dispute between the Governments of the center and the region. / End

I'm still lookung to top up as the OIP has not gone away,(in fact Exxon have recently spudded a well very close to Shaikan in the next block),just trying to gauge the bottom?.

Yes, I think somewhere between 120 -130p would be about right. Don't see any point in buying over 130p though atm.

Agreed Harry,some feel fund raising may be on the cards,which if so then perhaps lower?
Or the sale of AB would solve any cash issues?

BAGHDAD - Eastern April 30: Political sources in Baghdad said the central government has agreed to all the demands conveyed by the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government fully and without exception, according to Almassadran Government Center agreed to pass a law Extension Act approved the financial budget for the current year covers the amounts due to the oil companies operating in the region, which he refused Center allocated earlier in addition to the salaries of Kurdish Peshmerga forces, the sources said the central government also responded to the demands of the Kurdish invest oil in the Kurdistan region and exported context currently in place in addition to the agreement on the enactment of the oil and investment, the sources said the two sides agreed on security coordination in Kirkuk and other disputed territories and the return of Kurdish ministers to cabinet meetings, and noted that the meeting of the Council of Ministers, which had been scheduled for today has been postponed until after tomorrow, Thursday, in the hope of participation of Minister Kurds.
