cynic - 07 Jun 2009 19:03 - 44 of 709

have been to their office in dubai.
it's a good set up without expensive frills - i.e. it's a place of hands-on work rather than flash corporate office!

Tricky to pick the support level for this, but worth watching for an entry point.

kate bates - 10 Aug 2009 14:46 - 46 of 709

this worth buying then master bear cynic? Chief Exec talking about getting into alternative energy servises. Desalination could be huge area to get into in Dubai, would like to see chart over 125p, on the watchlist.

cynic - 10 Aug 2009 15:10 - 47 of 709

i happen to like this company, and although it is suffering at the moment, it is very well run and in the correct location (UAE) ..... in due course, the demand for rigs and their other services will assuredly pick up again and/or they will be taken out by PFC (or similar) for whom i would have though LAM made a good fit

halifax - 10 Aug 2009 15:13 - 48 of 709

interims due 26th August.

cynic - 10 Aug 2009 15:16 - 49 of 709

don't suppose they will make good reading, and would guess that outlook is still pretty tough, not least because Aramco continue to jerk everyone around

lelael - 10 Aug 2009 17:03 - 50 of 709

managed to finish above 120 for a change.

kate bates - 11 Aug 2009 07:57 - 51 of 709

Always thought AMEC may try to get in rather than PFC. Think i'll buy today if they approach 125p area, too low too long and recovery could be imminent.

cynic - 11 Aug 2009 08:04 - 52 of 709

you may be right, but PFC are pretty much LAM's neighbours in UAE and are certainly quite aggressive.
to be honest, i wouldn't turn my nose up at anyone who put in a decent offer, but would hope that LAM could come good in the reasonably near future in their own right

kate bates - 11 Aug 2009 10:44 - 53 of 709

looks crap on level 2 at the moment.
Any price targets on this stock anyone?

cynic - 11 Aug 2009 10:52 - 54 of 709

go back to post 12 for a couple of charts ..... somewhere between 105 and 110 looks to be good support

HARRYCAT - 11 Aug 2009 10:54 - 55 of 709

30-Jun-09 Arden Partners Neutral 114.00p - - Reiteration
Can't find anything more recent.

cynic - 11 Aug 2009 11:10 - 56 of 709

before buying, read my post 49

lelael - 13 Aug 2009 10:38 - 57 of 709

This seems to be on the way up again now, just needs to get away from that 120 hurdle.

Bolshi - 16 Aug 2009 20:36 - 58 of 709

Take your pick:

Date........Broker.......... Old price target....... New price target
14-Aug-09 RBS Sell...............55.00p...........80.00p
12-Aug-09 Deutsche Buy.......285.00p.........185.00p

marni - 17 Aug 2009 01:14 - 59 of 709

id sell rbs, lol

lelael - 21 Aug 2009 11:15 - 60 of 709

Our weekly move towards 125 is on again, yoyo share this one, someone will probably tell me its great for trading, something I've not mastered yet.

cynic - 24 Aug 2009 16:00 - 61 of 709

have just banked profit in 65% of holding ..... LAM figures are out on wednesday, and since their last trading update, i have seen nothing that makes me think they will be other than pretty bleak.

lots of peeps have jumped in here today on the back of PFC's stunning results, but i reckon they'll be falling over themselves to cash in just after the figures - as they were with PFC first thing this morning.

at that juncture i may well but back in

jkd - 24 Aug 2009 17:04 - 62 of 709

thanks for the heads up cynic. having held this long i think i will sit through the volatility
should it happen. just so long as it dont get back to my cost price that is. thanks.
regards
to you
