Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

Harry its depressing when you look at the current share price but if you go back and read up and do your figures am sure you will see the positives out number the minuses.

I still get a share price based on the 170 million barrels of about 3.50p so well undervalued at present.

Things are going to hot up very soon..come on the Rock and XEL

Additional Drilling Slots & Seismic Programme Update
Rockhopper Exploration plc announces that it has entered into an assignment agreement to secure three firm additional well slots on the Ocean Guardian drilling rig. Rockhopper intends to utilise these three well slots after Desire Petroleum plc completes drilling operations on its next well, which follows the appraisal well currently being drilled by Rockhopper.

Rockhopper further announces that the acquisition of new 3D seismic data to the south of the Sea Lion discovery well, on licence PL032, has been completed and the Company intends to fast track the processing of this data. It is anticipated that the resulting processed data will become available to the Company during July 2011. The wider seismic acquisition programme, over areas of licences PL024, PL032 and PL033 and adjacent areas, is ongoing.

Sam Moody, Chief Executive of Rockhopper, commented,
"The additional rig slots will see Rockhopper continuing an exciting and considerable work programme in the North Falkland Basin this year. Our understanding of the basin has advanced following the Sea Lion discovery, and will be further enhanced by our current appraisal operations, together with new seismic data. This information will be valuable in identifying our forward drilling programme."

Plenty of action to come, flow testing in May!!!

markymar - 14 Mar 2011 11:45 - 4418 of 6294

Pro is talking nonsense that they will side track and flow test in April, i think he makes it up as he goes along!!!! RKH announced that the full suite of well test equipment will be available in the Falklands during May, so they have the options described and they can run a fully engineered well test when that equipment is in place. Not untill that equipment is in place.

required field - 14 Mar 2011 12:04 - 4419 of 6294

When they say an appraisal well, do they mean an appraisal of the existing discovery, because won't the deeper sands be a discovery if there is oil there ? and if it's an appraisal...don't they have testing equipment ready...in that case it's not appraisal...it's a part exploration well.....and what's this sidetrack that Pro's on about ? where the hell has that come from.....this is all very confusing....

markymar - 14 Mar 2011 12:17 - 4420 of 6294

RF this is appraisal well which they are drilling on Sea Lion, tests will be carried out before they plug and abandon, but no flow test will be carried out on this well until well test equipment will be available in the Falklands during May.

Pro is telling porkys and misleading people, best advice is email RKH they will tell you when the equipment will be availableMAY.RKH will have the rig back by then and flow test then if successful.

required field - 14 Mar 2011 12:23 - 4421 of 6294

So we could have a rns stating that oil has been found in the existing discovered sands but none in the deeper section, or both have been found to be oil bearing or and I dare not think about the outcome if no oil is found at all in any sands.....

markymar - 14 Mar 2011 12:26 - 4422 of 6294

Guess we will find out in the next 10 days RF.

14p up....come on the Rock
