Coms plc. (AIM: COMS) announces that with immediate effect it has changed the name of its dormant subsidiary, ExchangeXT Limited to Coms Mobile Limited.
Dave Breith (Coms CEO) states, "For some time now we have been looking to acquire a Mobile Virtual Operator business with either MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler) and/or a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network operator) status. However having reviewed and had discussions with a number of possible operators we have not found the right fit for Coms. Accordingly I am pleased to announce that in the background we have quietly been building our own Network and confirm that we hope this will be fully operational in a matter of weeks.
"This will provide the company ownership of Data, Voice and Mobile / Wireless networks so in short, we have "all the toys in the box". The products and services that this will be able to deliver to our customers in the very near future will be extremely compelling."
Notes to Editors
Coms plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM market) and is a leading player in the provision of Hosted VoIP Telephony to UK businesses with over 10 years' experience in the telecoms sector. Unlike most VoIP providers, Coms does not rely on third party providers and we own and operate a UK based Carrier Class Telephony Platform.

I considered 'Train to nowhere' but that seemed a little harsh for the moment!

LOL! I'm also a holder so prefer either 'Fun train to Reno' or 'Last train to Paradise'!

he should concentrate more on making a profit for his shareholders rather than being a self admiration society.

I completely agree halifax. His prediction in April that he would get the share price to 10p "sooner rather than later" is looking a bit silly right now.

It'll come, it wasn't going to happen over night. His statement that Coms will be no.1 performer next yr too speaks volumes. The question is what's short term, I think we will see 10p next yr.
