I don't understand why some people sold at 14.5p. They could wait and sell above 18 or even higher.
When can they learn?

SWW, cant say I agree with you re SIA and DNX being overvalued but I ain't going to chastise you for it. DNX and BUR have been strong IMO on the back of the sharp rise in oil, SIA, as you know has done well on good news, although higher oil prices certinly hasn't harmed it.
Anyway, back to SEY, nice bid! :-))

Received monthly email from Hargreaves Hale. They still rate SEY a buy over the short and medium term.
"Sterling Energy - Has recently outperformed reflecting the strength of the oil price and in anticipation of an enhanced drilling programme off West Coast Africa."

Must get another tick up soon. Quoting 18.55 - 18.75 on line with Barclays. Max just 25,000 to buy online. Offers at full price and bid at over the mid point so all trades today will show as buys again. If this keeps up we will see 18.5 - 19p by close of play.

a few jokes which really are the funniest i have heard in ages:
a really good joke...
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his cellphone and calls the emergency services. He gasps: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator says: "Calm down, I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead."
There is a silence, then a shot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says: "OK, now what?"
A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: That's the ugliest baby that I've ever seen. Ugh! The woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: The driver just insulted me! The man says: You go right up there and tell him off go ahead, I'll hold your monkey for you.
An Alsatian went to a telegram office, took out a blank form and wrote:
Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof.
The clerk examined the paper and politely told the dog: There are only nine words here. You could send another Woof for the same price.
But, the dog replied, that would make no sense at all.
and if you liked that here are a few more..
PATIENT: "Doctor, I've got a strawberry stuck up my bum."
DOCTOR: "I've got some cream for that."
TEXAN: "Where are you from?"
HARVARD GRAD: "I come from a place where we do not end our sentences with prepositions."
TEXAN: "OK -- where are you from, jackass?"
A patient says, "Doctor, last night I made a Freudian slip, I was having dinner with my mother-in-law and wanted to say: 'Could you please pass the butter?'
"But instead I said: 'You silly cow, you have completely ruined my life.'"
"A man and a friend are playing golf one day. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course.
"He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer. His friend says: 'Wow that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You are truly a kind man.'
"The man then replies: 'Yeah, well, we were married 35 years.'"
"Two weasels are sitting on a bar stool. One starts to insult the other one. He screams, 'I slept with your mother!'
"The bar gets quiet as everyone listens to see what the other weasel will do.
"The first again yells, 'I SLEPT WITH YOUR MOTHER!'
"The other says: 'Go home dad, you're drunk.'"

Good to see some more buying today, although I assume that what appears to be buys at 18.50ish will probably be sells. Another tick up would be a nice end to the week, and a good start to the weekend! I take it the US is closed on Monday?
