NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

scotinvestor - 12 Aug 2008 21:37 - 463 of 1373

hi tabby

yes, the thread is a waste of time as its worst thread on this site so i give up as its been trashed by people who aint interested in company.......watch out for another piper alpha to hit news some day in oil world....maybe al will be on it with any luck.....erm, i see he checking sp as he does nothing at work like most oil guys who have nose in trough

al.....stands for alcoholic as he said he drinks like a fish.....probably a fat lager lout from what i experienced in my working life.....and thich as sh?thouse door too

as for bombing wales.....er, waste of time as world has so many other problems like russia etc.......i could send a trident over if you want me to tabby

hey tabby, i just landed a huge job last week......could be my last big pay day before i retire

scotinvestor - 12 Aug 2008 21:39 - 464 of 1373

i thought 50p hyleo

cynic - 12 Aug 2008 22:06 - 465 of 1373

oh lordy lordy lordy .... it's been at the bottle yet again!

gnashlevel2 - 12 Aug 2008 23:07 - 466 of 1373

now now don't be sarcastic ;-)
The news is taking far longer than I expected, which also interests me more too.
Some on boards elsewhere are promising substantial news, just have to wait and see. Too much fear right now, but the likes of Suisse keep buying regardless, as do I each payday.

If you can think of a more solid medium term investment gas play then I'd like to know.

scotinvestor - 13 Aug 2008 00:32 - 467 of 1373

hi gnashy

ah its ok.....old cyn has plenty of stereotype comments, i've heard most of them by now.

as for hawk, u r right.....i think they will be good....even great.....i got twitchy in summer and sold for decent profit....and sp is much lower now......question is how much lower will it go.....unless of course one is holding then who cares as its an investment which i agree will reap rewards in medium term

recent broker forecast was 242p i think

all the best

fliper - 14 Aug 2008 08:08 - 468 of 1373

Update on the testing of three wells is due anytime .

gnashlevel2 - 14 Aug 2008 12:42 - 469 of 1373

gettin' twitchy for this months top-up, bottom turned now?

cynic - 14 Aug 2008 13:16 - 470 of 1373

as no news, strongly suspect today's surge is merely MMs trying to force some short closing

gnashlevel2 - 15 Aug 2008 15:10 - 471 of 1373

well cynic, doesn't look that way to me, so another addition just made.

Looks like this is going the other way for the time being, fingers crossed.

cynic - 15 Aug 2008 16:13 - 472 of 1373

i hold by what i wrote .... sp has just dropped back to 69.5 from 72.5

gnashlevel2 - 18 Aug 2008 13:45 - 473 of 1373

cynic, I would have lost a lot if I listened, but thanks anyway ;-)

cynic - 18 Aug 2008 13:54 - 474 of 1373

lost or just made less? ...... i am happy that i sold half at 70 (at a profit), but remain puzzld as to quite why there should be any (such) excitement

gnashlevel2 - 18 Aug 2008 14:12 - 475 of 1373

thats why you're cynic by name, cynic by nature? ;-)

cynic - 18 Aug 2008 16:26 - 476 of 1373

even i am beginning to think that something must be afoot with sp up another 6p today

silvermede - 18 Aug 2008 17:39 - 477 of 1373

looks like a definite breakout - still holding!
