Quite pleased about the rise as this is by far my main share by a long way so any rise makes a big difference...long may it continue....

FoodSexMusic - 01 May 2012 21:54 - 466 of 2393

Surely all of these wells (on map) can't be belonged to FOGL??
I would like to find a recent article addressing the issue about when drilling is due to commence on the Loligo well? and which well after Loligo is next in line.. is it Scotia??

FoodSexMusic - 01 May 2012 22:13 - 467 of 2393

Where are FOGL's present oil wells that are successful??? Proselenes?

required field - 01 May 2012 23:04 - 468 of 2393

Yes...Proselenes.....I'll let you answer these.......(can't wait for the answers here....)...(snigger....stifled laughter).....)....sorry ......

aldwickk - 02 May 2012 08:22 - 469 of 2393

Does there have to be any at this stage ? the price of FOGL was over 240p 2 years ago without any well's.

cynic - 02 May 2012 08:23 - 470 of 2393

which indicates that it could not be remotely justified and was based purely on hype (ramping!)

required field - 02 May 2012 10:31 - 471 of 2393

Might break through the 100p barrier as perhaps people realise (at long last) the huge potential of this share in safe british waters.....

cynic - 02 May 2012 10:52 - 472 of 2393

potential; hypothesis; hocus-pocus; ramp; black magic; smoke and mirrors ..... RESULTS are what are required

FoodSexMusic - 02 May 2012 12:50 - 473 of 2393

What did happen with the Toroa prospect? Were all their CSEM readings just wrong, or what??

markymar - 02 May 2012 16:21 - 474 of 2393

They hit coal FoodSexMusic.

I have heard there is a chance FOGL will now drill Loligo next.

BOR announced the Darwin results and intention to drill Stebbing, but then did a placing to do additional work on Darwin (which may include more downhole seismic, neutron logs etc....)

It could be, so I heard, that BOR wanted to run loads more tests at Darwin, hence the quick placing. Owing to the need for time to analyze those tests and their implications they may have agreed with FOGL for FOGL to drill next at Loligo.

So at the moment everything is in limbo as FOGL must talk with their potential farm in partner before any announcement can be made.

Interesting, and possible that next is Loligo and then Stebbing. FOGL are drill ready as all their plans were made for May spud, which slipped to June.

markymar - 04 May 2012 09:56 - 476 of 2393

Pro FOGL does not need ramping as it will go up on its own merits nor does it need lies made up by you, if you read the last RNS from Borders it tells you the next drill is Stebbing.

"The Company now intends to complete wireline logging operations, plug and abandon the well in line with regulatory requirements and move to the Stebbing prospect, the second well in the current drilling programme. An announcement will be made once this well has spudded."

Proselenes, when you say "so I heard", it isn't all that convincing. As far as I'm concerned Stebbing is next. If Loligo was next in line, I wouldn't be about to invest in BOR. But, the only thing is, is that Stebbing is shallower than Darwin, which doesn't sound like a good thing.. right? And what do you mean
by "25API for the Darwin well"?

I read your post about explanation of condensate. I'm asking, would it be any good they found "volatile oil", or
would there be great expense having to isolate the important fractions out of this. From what you were saying, I
the immpression that RKH's oil well is about 1000 BNGL/MMSCF? Is 1000 BNGL/MMSCF as good as ideal oil? Would they not
prefer to hit either oil OR gas, as oppossed to a complex mixture of both mixture??

required field - 04 May 2012 21:49 - 480 of 2393

I see the Argie sickos are at work again, an ad, advertising nonsense claims on our islands,....this is a very sick nation...we had them harbouring Nazis during the war and after the war...cheating at soccer like nobody else and now even insulting the brave dead of a first world war memorial.....disgusting is the only word to describe whoever put this ad together....

FoodSexMusic - 04 May 2012 23:40 - 481 of 2393

What is "disgusting" is the amount of oil that could potentially ruin the wildlife down there & the global warming that the oil will indirectly contribute to!! I don't feel guilty for considering investing, I have my justifications.

markymar - 05 May 2012 09:50 - 483 of 2393

No oil has been found in the SFB not even oil shows.....gas and a great big coal mine so does that mean its all been over cooked is the question.

cynic - 05 May 2012 10:02 - 484 of 2393

FSM - so i take it that your view is "fuck the wildlife; juicy profit rules supreme!" ...... in fact, your sweeping opening statement does not hold water (irresistible, i'm afraid!) let alone stand up to serious scrutiny and disection

===========

MARK - i think we all tend to get swept away by hype, and it is well-worth remembering that even in oil-rich areas such as the waters off ghana and north sea, very recent history shows that duds are still regularly recorded
