Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.
cynic totally agree RKH's failure to capitalise on the sealion discovery has created uncertainty, if they have a major find with sealion why didn't they exploit it?
It's possible that this might be the first share to jump up soon,....we have had a long period with nothing but slumps. Perhaps now this might be the first to shoot up a bit with a good result....2 strikes here so far.....a third and no sp response from a market upgrade would baffle me....
Salmon - Spey! It seems to take a year to come round again........ so I had a week in April as well!
However RKH had better improve if it's to pay for the Halladale in September
Thanks Cynic. Certainly fly only and their best fish this week 28lbs. Whilst not as plentiful as the sea trout in the Malo, East Falkland they are much closer!
