This is the article from Investors Chronicle:
Petroceltic's transformation from moribund zinc miner to dynamic oil and gas explorer continued apace over the six months to June. The company acquired three new prospects - one in Algeria and two in Italy. The Italian prospects: one onshore and one offshore - have the potential to hold over 300m barrels of oil. But it's the 10000 sq km of onshore Algerian acreage that look the most interesting. According to local operator and 25% partner Sonatrach, two prospects on Petroceltic's Isarene Block together hold 380bn cubic feet of gas, and 28m barrels of oil, with potential gas and oil reserves as high as four trillion cubic feet and 400m barrels.
Petroceltic raised $12.5m in a placing in March, and earmarked the money for development of its Tunisian prospects where drilling is now under way. At just $2.5m per well, there could be cash left over for the new prospects. A farm-in deal is more likely, though.
IC VIEW: PETROCELTIC HAS ESTABLISHED ITSELF CREDIBLY OVER A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, AND IS RATED CHEAPLY COMPARED WITH PEERS GULF KEYSTONE AND FIST CALGARY. GOOD VALUE.

Good morning all.
Perhaps we'll get to hear some good news this week regarding drilling situation at ST?!
I'm a long term PCI holder and have no intention of changing my position...... I've full confidence in PCI's short, mid and long term potential and as a great optimist...............PCI will find oil at ST and lots of it!!!!!!
PCI will move in its own time, when it's ready...........it's not a case of if but when...........all we need is patience and resilience.....
We will get there and we shall be rewarded :-)

Twenty five straight buys with one sell this morning mainly in small investor amounts. The IC effect? Who cares as long as they go up.

(re price - I refer to my earlier comments - the price has been pushed down for a buying spree - expected pre drilling news? - probably see some large buys shortly)

The 2 trades marked "L" are Late Trades, if you look at the times (level 2) you will see that they are 12.56.17 & 15.28.58, and therefore relate to last Friday.

Looks as if the 250k seller is still around. I think the T trade for 250k was a sell. Down .5p and with some decent buying as well, crap day all round here.

On the 17th a lot more were sold than bought ( about 900k)
Was a price drop likely today because the MM's were stuffed with them and would have been offering a keen price to get rid of them, or doesn't it work like that. About 600k were sold today. So tomorrow could be another mediocre day unless there are a lot of buyers, which there could be considering the low price.
Incidentally, I don't want to be a party pooper, and I am sweating on these like the rest of you, but we seem to be putting a lot of faith in a drilling announcement rise. I note that this has not happened with PanAndean Resources, who are now actually drilling on three very exiting prospects.
I'm sweating on those as well!
Nothing is guaranteed!

Frightening isn't it.
What bad news could there be? If it's being manipulated - which is quite a likely explanation - whoever is doing it can't keep it up forever. They must be doing it in order to buy cheaply on the expectation of a rise, which is when we benefit. Are the string of 250,000 sells an attempt to panic the small investor and drive the price down in order to buy back lower down to benefit from the drilling RNS expected this week?
I'm holding. It's only money - not something important like people or your health.
