Xcite Energy - North Sea Heavy Oil (XEL)

Proselenes - 22 Oct 2009 11:14

.

required field - 16 Nov 2010 12:37 - 565 of 3002

On a good flow 2000 to 3000...this will rise...volume of oil in the ground would be large...

Proselenes - 16 Nov 2010 12:39 - 566 of 3002

DANA had less than 190 million recoverable barrels. If the flow test is good, and given the thicker pay and near 100% gross to net, XEL could have over 200 million recoverable barrels.

Go figure.

cynic - 16 Nov 2010 13:08 - 567 of 3002

banking a good profit can never ever be wrong .... clearly i have touched a very sensitive nerve as it's obviously a lesson you have never learnt ..... i can't remember whether or not i sold some RKH at 90 - quite possibly or even probably .... nor do or did i ever mind getting back in again if the game changes, and who cares if the price is then higher ..... it's a damn sight better than wringing one's hands because one COULD have sold at a whopping profit, but through unforeseen (they always are!) circumstances, all has crumbled away

cynic - 16 Nov 2010 13:11 - 568 of 3002

and i should have added ....
nor biting the bullet (quickly!) when one gets it wrong

Balerboy - 16 Nov 2010 13:30 - 569 of 3002

can i have a ringside seat at the boxing match pretty please......cyners v pro.....

Balerboy - 16 Nov 2010 13:32 - 570 of 3002

Must admit i topped up this morning with a few more.,.

gildph - 16 Nov 2010 13:35 - 571 of 3002

rf flow test turns out to be good with 200mbls what is your target for the share price?

Balerboy - 16 Nov 2010 13:40 - 572 of 3002

my guess is compared to rkh....spike to 4.50 poss 5 then settle 3.5 imo

gildph - 16 Nov 2010 13:44 - 573 of 3002

WHAT'S ALL THIS 2000p talk - over next couple of years or do people believe that a possibility albeit slim based on positive flow test results as i would tend to agree with your range Balerboy

Balerboy - 16 Nov 2010 13:46 - 574 of 3002

read pro's threads with a pinch of fairy dust......:))

gildph - 16 Nov 2010 13:49 - 575 of 3002

yeah starting to realise that - iN RKH and expectations set far to high - still waiting on 7.5!!! Now nearer 3 and as for 5.50 the window to sell as that level lasteed for all of 5 mins... cheers balerboy appreciate it...

cynic - 16 Nov 2010 13:50 - 576 of 3002

i never said he was a fairy!

required field - 16 Nov 2010 14:55 - 577 of 3002

Gildph, this is heavy crude....has to be warmed before folowing....does not fetch as much as brent (light oil).....but this is an appraisal well...the first of perhaps many....good flow....perhaps might go as high as 400p....perhaps....

required field - 16 Nov 2010 15:57 - 578 of 3002

Sp, holding up well on a down day.....what will this do on a blue day ?....perhaps 300p before results...?...

required field - 16 Nov 2010 16:12 - 579 of 3002

Super performance here.....perhaps the flow test is going well....

Proselenes - 17 Nov 2010 00:01 - 580 of 3002

Selling early and missing out on a big later rise IS JUST THE SAME as not selling and missing out as the price falls back.

Both are the missing out of gains.

Some people think its fine to sell early and miss out BUT ITS A CRIME to sell too late and miss out.

Madder than mad........ you have to speculate to accumulate, if you cannot stand the risk, sell and go away, if you can, keep holding and see what happens :) !

I believe the flow test will be good, thats why I was purchasing at 20p. I still believe it will be good and so I am still holding.

You have to believe in the company, if you do not you are just a like a virus who jumps into hot stocks and jumps out if they can make a bit of money before anything risky comes along. If you trade like that with no understanding or care about how the company performs it means your opinions are worth nothing, you are simply a trader who cares only about their own profit or loss, you have no interest in the company or others.

Proselenes - 17 Nov 2010 02:08 - 581 of 3002

The jungle drums are beating out an "its all going really well" tune.

Probably behind yesterdays rise in awful market conditions.

cynic - 17 Nov 2010 07:37 - 582 of 3002

invest your money as you wish; pretend that paper profits are for real if that keeps you happy, but for crying out loud, stop all your ramping ... it really does get very boring

we all know that this is an interesting stock and perhaps has considerable potential, BUT only hindsight, not wishful thinking and hype, will afford us the luxury of telling us the quantum of same

Proselenes - 17 Nov 2010 07:41 - 583 of 3002

You have sold cynic, go off to another thread and be boring..... stop decrying us very longs the pleasure of enjoying the "jungle drums" from Scotland..... :)

Balerboy - 17 Nov 2010 07:47 - 584 of 3002

thick.......skinned i think cyners.,.
