Oil & gas good sector to be invested in.DGO,PMO & TLW imo safe long term plays.

cynic I really enjoy reading your posts and have learnt a great deal from them but please note DGO has gone up 5% while you continue this discussion on PET,I thought we are here to make some money now not in 3/4 years.

Good morning cynic, re my post 557 I wasn't suggesting that I would hang on to PET because I had sold HTV too early, HTV was just 1 of a few examples I could have chosen, the reason I am hanging on to PET is that I believe there is considerable upside to come. I have 'lost' 40p as you say, twice actually but I can live with that, we are all here to make money but 'what is it they say' don't play the market if you cannot afford to lose the money invested.. Good luck all.

2517,agree with you.Holding PET for expected contract announcements will imo see high upside potentially beating the socks off trading in & out of shares.Risk to reward.Traders on MoneyAM no doubt will tell us different.lol

If you beleive that PET is one of 5 companies who will have contract confirmed now is a good time to be holding. My prediction chart breakout is not that far away.Downtrend there to be broken lol.imho

HNY Richard :)
I have been somewhat dubious re PETs chance of success for quite some time, well, a few years actually. The latest ramp managed to puff the SP to nearly 160p when the inevtiability of gravity took over. The second rise to 160p was actually a great shorting opportunity for anyone watching the MACD divergence, suffice to say I wasn't watching :(
Where it goes now I have no idea from a TA perspective it's difficult to say, but range bound would be my best guess. Of course there will be news at some stage which will move it one way or another. Still wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, but each to their own.

Thin volume so far, but some trades are going through above the offer price, any significance in this I wonder.
