Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

We hear rumours all the time of takeover of companies in discussion but very hard to verifier this but this one has legs as they have been seen in the Falkland’s also out for meals, also DC speech the other day was so well timed.

If you get a huge American partner like Anadarko Petroleum it will shut the Argies up once and for all.

I would like to see a steady tick up as the day goes on I see RKH have not come out to denied all the press speculation….they can’t as its true.

RKH £3.50 +end of the day, DES 31p+ will be a happy chappy if so.
