Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

Sticking my head out but perhaps what Huhne said is right.
If as quoted by the Press Association above he said "....Some of the initial exploration that was undertaken in territorial waters of the Falkland Islands was disappointing....." then that is the case for DES, FOGL and others. However RKH has been - and still is - a resounding success.
As for Marky's comment about wanting to lower the SP, how could he suggest such a upright Minister of the Crown would perjure himself? That would be 'pointless'

yes so long as you believe RKH will not remain (totally) independent for long, though GKP has arguably better chances and upside in the nearer future

Don't know T. I'm out of RKH at the mo. More of a long term play now, imo, but with huge potential if you are prepared to wait. Currently talk of t/o or farm in, but risky to buy purely on that strategy. Have made very good money here, but am always wary of becoming emotionally tied to a stock.

In bits and pieces between 330p to 349p....switched some over to FOGL.....risky but any signs of hydrocarbons should send that sp much higher....probably will come back to RKH later....
