just be sure not to get overexposed in this one sector ..... as you know, it can react pretty viciously

goldfinger - 02 Mar 2009 15:30 - 631 of 2076

Yep your right but dont worry cyners Ive got a portfolio that includes stamps, comics, property, and land not to mention my collection of broadband operating system DVD discs (reckon these freebies could be worth something in time.......... not my time but somebodys time.

cynic - 02 Mar 2009 15:42 - 632 of 2076

i'll stick to property and fine wines, though i would have to be in very serious poo to be persuaded to sell rather than drink!

sorry to see gold dumping $10 having been up similar earlier today

goldfinger - 02 Mar 2009 16:19 - 633 of 2076

strange times cyners strange times.

i thought id seen it all during the 70s and 80s but I sure havent.

this beats the lot in my life time.

goldfinger - 02 Mar 2009 16:23 - 634 of 2076

Theres only one way to get us out of this recession, ..........and thats to drink our way out of it.

see everyone laters, off down my favourite epic... PUB.

None of the snobby upper class wine for me cyners.

A down to earth pint of stella ..... or 2, and Ill probably litteraly fall down to earth.

cynic - 02 Mar 2009 16:29 - 635 of 2076

ah, "wife beater"!

hlyeo98 - 02 Mar 2009 16:40 - 636 of 2076

POG started well today but down badly end of day.

steveo - 02 Mar 2009 22:34 - 637 of 2076

I thought gold would hold up at 938, now that breached next good support not until 880, I expect we are seeing margins being covered with gold profits and general lack of interest until this sell off stabilises, if it gets down to 800 mark I'd be very surprised.

Or maybe Gordon's come up with a great way to raise cash, sell gold, that could be dragging the price down. I'll sell mine when he starts buying it.
