I don't deal with IG skinny - I just buy/sell real shares, I don't even mess around with T20s. Sorry I'm totally boring!:-)

I only do in a small way, CMC also mainly index and pin money :-)

Here's just one example of an article published by Geoff Foster which proved to have no substance whatsoever - it was based on "rumours" and "hot gossip". The "imminent transformational acquisition" never happened!

Bit suprised he didn't publish my COMS to bid for VOD rumour a couple of weeks ago :-)

Dil - I would think your rumour far more realistic than suggesting a heavily discounted placing at 6p!:-) It's just as well for some of these newspaper hacks that the FSA is generally pretty ineffective.

Heavy volume - I guess a few, like me - have churned these once or twice today.

There's a distinct smell about what went on today regarding the article which was published first thing this morning in the Daily Mail, followed by the RNS issued by COMS after 8am. The whole scenario just doesn't add up somehow - perhaps I'm just a frustrated private detective.:-)

RSI calmed down - it looks like IG did me a favour yesterday.

I wonder how far they will force it down? I'm ready with cash!

HARRYCAT - ditto, I'm just waiting to top-up! Strange how the herd mentality start to panic just at the mention of a placing.

Corporal Jones would have something to say about it that's for sure!
