First well in the new 16 well deal with Texas Crude Energy Inc ("TCEI")
has spudded

Empyrean has been advised by Texas Crude Energy Inc that the TCEI JV Block A
#1 well, the first well to be drilled as part of the recently announced 16
well deal has spudded on Block A.

Further updates will be provided as relevant information comes to hand.


The information contained in this announcement was completed and reviewed by the
Technical Director of Empyrean Energy Plc, Mr Frank Brophy BSc (Hons) who has
over 40 years experience as a petroleum geologist.

Good move today. Almost covered the spread.

3 point rise for every well that spuds?

............ and possibly a 3 point drop for every duster. Mind you, given past performance it'll be more like 6 points for every duster.

even though EME is now valued at barely 1/4 of what is was just a year or so ago, imo the company/management has disappointed so many times that i question the wisdom of putting fresh money in here ....... surely you can find a much better home for your money even in the oil sector?

Yeah right, maestro. You're the guy that was calling the BFC bottom at about 35p from memory. Doh! ;-) I seem to remember you advocating NXT some time back too. The klist is endless. You must really enjoy flushing your cash away.

BTW, you don't make money catching tops and bottoms. Now there's a wee tip for you. ;-))

very much to my surprise, the chart shown below is pretty encouraging, though rsi is now quite toppy and 200 dma onlly a little above at 45 ...... i still won't buy!

cynic - I said a week or so again the chart was looking much better. Downtrend technically broken. Suppose it was inevitable with all the spuds.

Am still doubtful if she'll hold though, but you never know.
