Can i ask why you think this is a bad stock,as a no go area.
Also how did you get on with your investment with patientline(ptl)

Eme have 3 vast projects and are duly on course to deliver the sugarloaf-1 and margarita plus the eagle-1 in califonia with vast reserves, and quality production of oil & gas.

"On course to deliver?" asked Cynic acidly. "It'll be the first time EME ever have, and the market looks underwhelmed too," he continued

The last time I saw, "on course to deliver...." it was 75kbopd from Chinguetti.

12 months on, that "no brainier" is now producing 22kbopd and has been the grave of one good company, Hardman Resources, 3 other members who were on course to deliver, have now arrived at their destination at selling out at a loss.

E&P is a veritable minefield and buyers need to beware, and be realistic about what they are buying into.

EME is a case in point imo.

PANR is another, lots of inflated RNS's, and promise, and failure to deliver.

Never mind, next time they need cash to start again, they will go to the market!!!

It should do, there are more than just a couple that have done that of late, that is if they have not sold out first.

EME is a company which give false promises. It should win an award for that.

Nothing's changed IMO. An investment in EME is dead money for the foreseeable future.

The well flowed gas at a rate up to 210 mscfd within a 24 hour test period,
however due to the high vertical permeability of the sands (atypical for these
sands) water influx from below the gas bearing interval gradually choked off gas
flow reduce, due to the increased column of water within the production string.
If the gas bearing interval had a base seal separating the gas and water then
the zone would have been a good commercial producer. It was determined that
remedial work to prevent or inhibit water inflow was deemed to be unlikely to
succeed and not cost justifiable; therefore the well was suspended and can be
used as a water disposal well for other joint venture wells in the area.

Although eme are takeing there time, Initially this will reveal the vast quantities of reserves at sugarloaf-1 and maragrita. still eagle and glantal are very good outlooks.

some of you folk just don't get it do you? This fails because of high vertical permeability. Does anyone in their right mind believe that in Texas of all places this would not have been produced decades earlier if not for this geological phenomenon that is not technologically surmountable.

I am sure you are right, Big Al, but many companies are revisiting old wells to extract previously uneconomical or unrecoverable oil (the North sea for example).
Plus, surely if what you are saying is so obvious, why doesn't the EME management realise this as well?
I am out of this one thank goodness, but as you know took a bigish loss a couple of months back (plus it means the tax man gets less of my money) but someday the technology is bound to figure a way of extracting every last drop......or not?

HARRY - you are right. I'm one of those in the North Sea trying to extract the previously unrecoverable stuff. Personally, I believe Texas is different, in that it is absolutely peppered with holes. Add to that EME's inability to get anything producing and you have to question the company's capability.
