Can't be bothered with the FOGL thread P, theres more rubbish on there than useful information.
I'm still long on BOR but not as exposed as I was a week ago. Same goes for FOGL still long but not as exposed. Should see 100p again on BOR I think, this is waiting for maybe more... I think FOGL is over priced currently, I'm sat on decent unrealised profits so I don't mind being able to sell my futures at a premium.

If Stebbing has an AVO anomalie : it might or should be either gas or oil ......if it's another big gas condensate discovery : the two tied in together would be commercial perhaps and if it's oil,.. well who knows...but from what I gather there is something there if it has an AVO....

My guess is that the market will really sit up and notice these southern licences if another big gas condensate discovery is made ...two out of two with a dozen other prospects around should attract the big boys.....even better if they find light oil.....but another gas reservoir of a decent size is going to set the ball rolling...

Could be a dramatic change of fortunes for Borders and Southern's sp once again should a column of oil be found as they drill through the layers of rock.......several reservoirs in this drill from what I gather.....might even get an update this time round as the well gets deeper.....tertiary rocks have shown someting's down here in the seismic !...sp in my regards has been knocked down far too much.....pretty big chances of gas being also found as we are only 25 miles away from Darwin with a large gas condensate discovery under the belt....another discovery like that would probable confirm a viable gas project.

Perhaps 1000m down by now......no signs of panic.....things running to schedule by the look of things.

Shorters continued piling more shorts onto BOR last week.
Could be one massive rally coming BOR's way fairly soon.

What is the origin of that graph please? I see you are loading it on to imageshack, but would be interested in the origin. DataExplorers?

on the basis that many bears will want to take their profits before any drilling result, sp is likely to rise, perhaps significantly at that time ..... therefore not a bad plan to sell at least partial holdings into that rally

Borders up today.....goodo......you never know ....might come incredibly right.......with the gas result last time in a remote location....who knows what lays ahead....I'm convinced that a lot more hydrocarbons are out there waiting to be discovered......would do wonders for the UK's trade figures......the area is huge....I wouldn't be surprised if the seismics have missed some big targets so vast in sea acreage is this part of the world....one target with Darwin...two with Stebbing...five with Loligo and I think three with Scotia and two with Nimrod.....(not sure with the numbers there)....but something like that.....

Should be drilling ahead from Monday and into the shallower of the target zones later next week.
At the moment doing safety checks on the BOP and looking good to be drilling ahead Monday - at which point rig will go into "silent" mode---- no comms.

New parts to comply with safety requirements ok now it seems, as I posted earlier looks like it will be drilling ahead from Monday again.
First target will be not long, and the second a while later. Expect completion of operations around 7th July.

Re: Results next week Wouldn't worry about the weekend. There have been further delays on the rig owing to continued problems with the BOP. This has been for over a week now. Parts are thought to have come in on the flight yesterday. The original wrap up date before the problems with the BOP had been 29th June. GL M. Morani
