Halifax,

I am not entirely sure what is happening at your end, but could you try a restart on the machine please? If this does not work, you may want to try a re install on Java by clicking on the word Java on the stockwatch page,

Here is a direct link to the java download - if you cannot access it from here, it would point at a more serious problem with yoru machine, or at some kind of setting on your machine preventing you from accessing it:

Ian java confirmed as 6.3 this problem occurs on the stockwatch and trades pages and on the quotes page and started yesterday. As I knew you were experiencing tech problems after the earlier system crash I did not report it until this morning.

Ian I cannot print the page when the screen is flashing on and off in any case there is nothing to see other than prices I notice also the page is slow to appear.

I am sorry to say that I do not know what is causing this for you - it is very hard to say without actually seeing the machine and what you are seeing

Did the re install of java make any difference?
