London bound -Hurry! (LAS)

JRM - 19 Mar 2004 15:55

Just in time, I think!

London and As give their results on Monday and they will be good. Just buying today!

They own 40%+ of Bishi Mining (check spelling!) and their mid week results were explosive!

Grandma - 24 Mar 2004 20:54 - 9 of 20

How do they know that I might want to change it?
Still puzzled.

it's put there by default - if you don't want to edit, don't use it.

all the best

How do you view all entries on the bigger messages?

JRM - 26 Mar 2004 16:00 - 12 of 20

There are some good write-ups

MightyMicro - 26 Mar 2004 23:49 - 13 of 20

JRM: Not sure what you mean, but there is a limit imposed on the "All Messages" facility, as I recall, of 400 postings.

This is merely arbitrary to stop the Bulletin Board servers' bandwidth being totally consumed by people downloading threads of many thousand messages.

This doesn't tend to be a problem, as daily threads rarely grow quite that big, and longer ones tend to be of more historic interest and you can page through them.

Grandma: the "Edit" feature is there for you to correct errors in your own posts -- but, clearly, you are not permitted to edit/change other people's posts. And no, we don't know that you want to change a post -- we just give the opportunity to correct mistakes after the event.

Hope this helps.

A slight wobble, but it's gone ex-divi today

JRM - 01 Apr 2004 12:45 - 18 of 20

I still think the sellers are getting this one wrong. Any thought?

JRM - 21 Apr 2004 15:51 - 19 of 20

Are they mad? The IC said buy Bishi, it shot up and Las fell!
