THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I know this is the 'Talk to Yourself Thread', and I agree it was created so that anything can be said on any subject, but I am sure most agree it is getting childishly pathetic.
Come on you lot, What happened to good serious discussions, Not so serious chat, Jokes and Humor, and just about anything of interest.
The last few weeks, have been almost continual bickering.

Greek, I think all this squabbling started when Cameron and Clegg got together. Let's blame them! :o)

Do Microsoft care.

About 2 weeks ago, my wife had an automatic update to Windows Live (she runs Vista).
Ever since we have been unable to connect by video to our daughter and granddaughter.
We have now found out via Microsoft's help line, that due to this update, they no longer support a video link via windows live for vista.
We had tried for a several of hours to sort it, before finding this out.
How nice of Microsoft to update the system and not inform anyone that it would mean we could not use it as we had before.
According to a blog, there have been many such complaints.
I am not one for knocking a company that becomes a monopoly due to size, as long as they still put customer care first.
It is obvious that Microsoft are too big to care!

Fred1new - 12 Aug 2010 09:32 - 9306 of 81564

Post 9303.

Arrest that man!

I was thinking of stirring the pot, but I think I will go back to France first.

But, if the Greek was serious, I would like to know what Cameron and the Oik are going to prevent the double dip recession.

What a shambles. The only policies this mob have are destroying public services.

kimoldfield - 12 Aug 2010 09:48 - 9307 of 81564

David Cameron has just sympathised with David Beckham, what more could we ask of him? Surely he has done enough for his country now. Time for him to retire? Cryptic puzzle - do I mean Cameron or Beckham?:0)

mnamreh-------you're almost certainly correct, but that's an improvement on Brown who had a shoe size bigger than his IQ.
