Interims should be due before the month end, both myself and of course cynic are big fans of PET ha! ha! and eagerly await their coming.

No revenue and no settlement yet, if the Iraqi Gov do decide to cough up what they owe PET then the sp should be well north of current sp.

Oil deals being ratified (I think that's the term used) by the Iraq government...might affect PET...any news anybody ?.

not for the better ..... unless i am much mistaken, only BP concluded any licencing deal ..... all that hype about PET on this thread will, i am pretty sure, turn out to be nothing but a load of rubbish and the value of the company/shares, probably rather less ...... no doubt i got castigated for that view at the time

cynic,
How far would the share price have to fall before you took a small punt ?

my opinion has not changed from the outset ...... i think this is a lousy suppository for any cash - and you know what happens when you insert suppositories!

PET must surely be dead in the water .... it is intrinsically a one trick pony (iraq), and it has broken at least two legs ..... all the shouting and hollering some time back about how PET had the ears of all the right people, was clearly a load of bollocks as was always likely to be the case .... the only winners were a handful of major international players, albeit that there are still some other fields up for auction in the near future

Not in, but this has shot up.....a real gamble this one : could remain at low levels for a year or so or rocket in an instant if they are awarded anything.

I've been watching as well, been a dog for me due to my greed sometime back, maybe something positive coming out after all, but I won't hold my breath.

seemingly 10x normal volume on a very quiet day
however, with a quote of 29/33 this remains a very dodgy outfit in which to invest - sorry; gamble

almost whole of yesterday's gain already lost, and that is just mid/mid, for spread remains its customary silly self

MM's seem to be doing everything possible to temp Pi's into shares before dropping the price. I've noticed for some time now, tiddlers going up one day and reversing the next. This market is evil and a minefield for PI's who continually put good money after bad.
Quickest way of losing your money in my opinion!

There was certainly much higher volume with yesterdays 30% sp rise, no suggestions of why, maybe PET being paid (at last) by the authorities for work done, but whatever the reason the sp retreat today would indicate a lack of conviction. Of course it may be just normal profit taking during a massive upward run, now that would be nice. (Everyone has a dream)
