NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

Hello to the sceptical mugs who didn't listen. This hasn't even started.
cynic, in a few months that 'odd tin-can-full' of oil is going to come back to haunt you.

gnashlevel2 - 11 May 2009 08:42 - 953 of 1373

Something like back-to-back RNSs will take care of the shorters.

It has not gone un-noticed and not before long, something is going to be done about them. David Bramhill does listen to us.

cynic - 11 May 2009 14:31 - 954 of 1373

shall be happy for it to do so if i am still a holder.

gnashlevel2 - 13 May 2009 16:18 - 955 of 1373

Another 25k addition for tomorrow's RNS :-)

marni - 13 May 2009 22:58 - 956 of 1373

i'm out all day tomorrow.....make it next tuesday please

Proselenes - 14 May 2009 14:21 - 957 of 1373

We will soon get to see if San Severina/Ascent Resources are the ones who buy into Jolly Ranch (as is the rumour).

AST are the advisers for SS, and get 20% of any production purchased using the SS monies.

SS are investing initially 100m Euro's into oil and gas projects, and AST are the ones who do the DD and advise what to buy, in return for 20% of any production purchased.

RNS out today on AST which says in the middle of it "significant transactions" are coming soon with the SS joint venture.

So soon we shall see if the rumour that one project is Jolly Ranch is true or not.

silvermede - 14 May 2009 15:34 - 958 of 1373

If that is the case PP, it could be a double winner for me as holding both, time will tell!

fliper - 18 May 2009 11:45 - 959 of 1373

Will these reach 75p again ?

Balerboy - 19 May 2009 08:19 - 960 of 1373

Is it going to break through the 50p barrier today?????

marni - 19 May 2009 21:47 - 961 of 1373

buy for medium term and stop whining about the share price

oilyrag - 20 May 2009 07:22 - 962 of 1373

Details of JV to be released 29th May, so you have a week to fill your boots, maybe.

Proselenes - 20 May 2009 07:46 - 963 of 1373

Depends, if the buyer is San Severina and AST is getting 20% for free to cover costs, then one should be buying AST who are getting a freebie here.

All depends, but it will finally be clear on the 29th who the buyer is, thanks goodness.

gnashlevel2 - 20 May 2009 07:51 - 964 of 1373

By design or not, the penultimate RNS on the partial sale is a beartrap to see off the traders that intended to dump the lot. Most of the T20's taken on this won't see the 20th May. I am pmsl here, they aren't getting it all their own way this time.

halifax - 20 May 2009 11:20 - 965 of 1373

We hope the soon to be announced sale of part of Jolly Ranch will give us all a pleasant surprise otherwise the sp will crash.

gnashlevel2 - 20 May 2009 13:17 - 966 of 1373

Halifax I think today has shaken out the hot money that were in only for the sale news.

I bet the rest are in longer, as there is a backlog of updates that I think will be stepped out over the next few days and the oil price seems sturdy which can only help. Are you guys having a punt on AST? (rumoured buyer - I stress rumoured).

halifax - 20 May 2009 13:25 - 967 of 1373

AST seem to have their hands full in Italy at the moment, shifting their focus to the US seems a little odd as they concentrate on Europe.

gnashlevel2 - 20 May 2009 14:04 - 968 of 1373

I thought that too, but the rumour seems persistent. A contrarian punt.

jkd - 20 May 2009 16:07 - 969 of 1373

longer term chart shows buying pressure between 42/60 levels pushed the price very much higher, so this would suggest where resistance might be expected.a pretty wide band for such a stock at current level of 45sh. a closing weekly fall below 42 might suggest overhead resistance has prevailed although the weekly up trendline would still remain intact at this level.might be one for new buyers beware and for existing holders to hold and beware. just my opinion good luck dyor

h
re your post 965 it seems your fundys analysis and my tech analysis might agree. i.e. no one knows. but if this then that etc. the difference might just be that a chart level +/- x % stop loss may decide for us.

Proselenes - 21 May 2009 01:19 - 971 of 1373

halifax, AST act as "advisers" for San Severina. They do due diligence on various targets and advise San Severina on values, potential, payment etc...

As payment for this service they then receive 20% of production revenue purchased by San Severina. So AST do not shift any focus, they simply get 20% of any production revenues that San Severina buy. Nice little deal.
