Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.
As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

Details of JV to be released 29th May, so you have a week to fill your boots, maybe.

Depends, if the buyer is San Severina and AST is getting 20% for free to cover costs, then one should be buying AST who are getting a freebie here.
All depends, but it will finally be clear on the 29th who the buyer is, thanks goodness.

By design or not, the penultimate RNS on the partial sale is a beartrap to see off the traders that intended to dump the lot. Most of the T20's taken on this won't see the 20th May. I am pmsl here, they aren't getting it all their own way this time.

Halifax I think today has shaken out the hot money that were in only for the sale news.
I bet the rest are in longer, as there is a backlog of updates that I think will be stepped out over the next few days and the oil price seems sturdy which can only help. Are you guys having a punt on AST? (rumoured buyer - I stress rumoured).

AST seem to have their hands full in Italy at the moment, shifting their focus to the US seems a little odd as they concentrate on Europe.

I thought that too, but the rumour seems persistent. A contrarian punt.

longer term chart shows buying pressure between 42/60 levels pushed the price very much higher, so this would suggest where resistance might be expected.a pretty wide band for such a stock at current level of 45sh. a closing weekly fall below 42 might suggest overhead resistance has prevailed although the weekly up trendline would still remain intact at this level.might be one for new buyers beware and for existing holders to hold and beware. just my opinion good luck dyor

re your post 965 it seems your fundys analysis and my tech analysis might agree. i.e. no one knows. but if this then that etc. the difference might just be that a chart level +/- x % stop loss may decide for us.

halifax, AST act as "advisers" for San Severina. They do due diligence on various targets and advise San Severina on values, potential, payment etc...
As payment for this service they then receive 20% of production revenue purchased by San Severina. So AST do not shift any focus, they simply get 20% of any production revenues that San Severina buy. Nice little deal.

Just in case you missed this one:
Nighthawk Energy initiated at Daniel Stewart with buy rating and 102p target price
Business Financial Newswire
Oil and gas exploration companys attractiveness is a function of the commercial value attributed to its oil and gas reserves, says broker. Release of various competent person reports expected in Q3 will add transparency to resource base. 96 % upside to target price. Valuation is conservative, at a 20% recovery factor, and a valuation quotient of $1.8/boe, substantially lower than the average multiple on which the constituents of the S&P 400 E&P Index are trading.

marni .... golden cross is when 2 major DMAs - e.g. 50 and 200 - cross over with both on a (strong) upward path ...... what happens then? .... as a rule, not a lot! .... however, it does imply continuing good upward momentum, just as a dead cross (the reverse) implies the opposite
