so the boys tell me!
in recent days, it has been more than a little disappointing to see GPK tumbling away.
however, in yesterday's massacre, GPK seems to have been a rarity in finishing comfortably ahead
today has seen that continue strongly, though volumes are no more than adequate - i.e. by no means stronger than usual

required field - 27 Nov 2009 12:12 - 995 of 5505

Next week could see another surge up to 120p possibly on a crude and markets recovery (if there is one)....the amount of oil in the ground is staggering....has to be a takeover bid by another company sooner or later, might take a year but it should come...

A little "bird" is saying ......... news are expected tomorrow

........... And news are here

Director buys 2,000,000 @ 94p

cynic - 30 Nov 2009 12:01 - 999 of 5505

if that's the news you had in store, is not frightfully exciting - sorry

Balerboy - 30 Nov 2009 12:32 - 1000 of 5505

oh don't be so dull cynic.... it's the only news so far today....not a lot happening or have you got something on the boil at the mo???

cynic - 30 Nov 2009 12:38 - 1001 of 5505

eggs!

HARRYCAT - 30 Nov 2009 12:42 - 1002 of 5505

Loads of stuff happening BB!
Gartmore floatation, SEY drilling in mid dec, possible offer for IPR at 385p, Falklands rig on the way, Brit Airways merger with Iberia...etc etc.
Expectations possibly too high for GKP, so every time RNS is issued, sp surge is anticipated.

RE - eggs!

Is that the news you were expecting?

I have an answer for that. Get some hens, and you may get a surprise to see some brown ones layed but the real truth is ..........

the color of the shell has nothing to do with egg quality, nutritional value or flavor

thanks for input harry, several months before any worth while news from falklands but saying that keeping careful eye on des and rkh so as not to miss out. will ba bounce back by much??

Master RSI - 30 Nov 2009 13:00 - 1005 of 5505

The shares are now on the move UP at the moment 108p +6.50p

a slight strenth on the bid side order book 9 2 extra trades), but the director BUY on a large size is enough to encourage new entries and top ups

very easy to change colour and flavour of yolks too, though assuredly not recommended by EMB, if it still exists

Master RSI - 30 Nov 2009 14:14 - 1007 of 5505

They are on the move UP OK
The order book have got much stronger since with 16 extra trades on the bid side

Spread 108.50 / 109p
the next step is to go over 109p as there are 76K at offer

the same amount at 14.09am and there were taken in one go earlier with "AT" 25K 38.5K and 12.50K = 76K

sp has suddenly roared through its previous all-time high - currently 114.5 mid - though it's important that it holds it to be of any value ...... i think an imminent t/o is ruled out in the light of the non-exec's recent and significant purchase, so perhaps some peeps were impressed by yesterday's presentation or another encouraging rns is in the offing

required field - 01 Dec 2009 09:05 - 1009 of 5505

Decided to sell.....might be a mistake but the sp is quite high with perhaps no more good news until next year....market cap now around the billion (If I'm not mistaken)....will be watching anyway...

cynic - 01 Dec 2009 09:06 - 1010 of 5505

a profit's a profit .... perhaps sell just part? .... there is also a good market adage that one stays with the impetus

required field - 01 Dec 2009 09:12 - 1011 of 5505

Sold all.....can come back in via sipp...I hesitated but....it might go back to the 90's or just around the pound mark for some time....or it might climb, but that's pushing it in my view...

required field - 01 Dec 2009 09:23 - 1012 of 5505

Was it something I said...?...down 8p...

HARRYCAT - 01 Dec 2009 09:26 - 1013 of 5505

It wasn't something you said, it was something you did!! You obviously had a substantial holding rf !
