Hope you did not have to much invested RF,i hope we have a good run with FOGL.

tony727 - 16 Jul 2012 08:10 - 998 of 1086

Very glad I took my profits at 1.20p

cynic - 16 Jul 2012 08:11 - 999 of 1086

does BOR have any value at all?

markymar - 16 Jul 2012 08:13 - 1000 of 1086

Very little in my eyes it was over hyped and over priced as you know my feelings about it.

Guess Pro only has FOGL to ramp now to which i am holding for now.

Balerboy - 16 Jul 2012 08:14 - 1001 of 1086

glad i wasn't in at all......

required field - 16 Jul 2012 08:14 - 1002 of 1086

Had some.....it was a gamble....but mostly in FOGL.....perhaps too many FOGL....better pray one of these next two wells comes right....

HARRYCAT - 16 Jul 2012 08:19 - 1003 of 1086

Money to be made with the FOGL stock imo, as it's already down 10% on the back of the BOR duster. Am expecting the usual hype, spud, TD approach opportunities to buy & sell.

required field - 16 Jul 2012 08:23 - 1004 of 1086

Worst result of all, they did not even complete the well.....anyway already out and all in FOGL......Loligo is I think 150 miles away.....so it will take time....

required field - 16 Jul 2012 08:32 - 1005 of 1086

Can't believe it...but there are some buys here.....

tony727 - 16 Jul 2012 08:46 - 1006 of 1086

Harrycat

I agree ! but hold off for a week or two I see 50p coming in the near future

cynic - 16 Jul 2012 08:57 - 1007 of 1086

bollocks .... why would anyone want to buy these shares except to close a short position?

markymar - 16 Jul 2012 08:57 - 1008 of 1086

BOR worth £88 mill.....NO oil maybe no Commercial gas until results

DES worth £77 mill sitting on 82mmbs of oil at P50 with also Gas

No Brainer again which one is over priced

BOR a sell even at the price it is at moment

Shortie - 16 Jul 2012 09:19 - 1009 of 1086

Good job my stop losses kicked in this morning, I leave BOR with a very small profit... FOGL next..

required field - 16 Jul 2012 09:50 - 1010 of 1086

Stop losses ?.....they would not have worked .......there is gas there but not completing the well is a bad result....FOGL.....now...god knows how it will work out for BOR.....if FOGL come up with a bad result after two wells : I will need a lift home as in up to my neck in that one.....like walking on quicksand with only a plank as help with these falkland stocks...

Shortie - 16 Jul 2012 10:36 - 1011 of 1086

Actully RF, guarenteed stop losses... Maybe a good time to average down abit on FOGL..

markymar - 16 Jul 2012 10:55 - 1012 of 1086

Shortie i think your telling porkies as it went from 62p to 16p in a blink, stop losses dont work on a blink of an eye.

Pessimism Sauce - 16 Jul 2012 10:59 - 1013 of 1086

Stop losses do not work in extreme volatility, such as BORs activity today

Shortie - 16 Jul 2012 11:49 - 1014 of 1086

Obviously you don't play spreads or you'd have heard of a Guarenteed Stop Loss Order.
The guarentee is supposed to work in extreme volatility, its what the orders for and why you pay a premium to place such a bet. Go look it up...

required field - 16 Jul 2012 12:43 - 1015 of 1086

I doubt if you would have got one for that stock.

Proselenes - 16 Jul 2012 12:49 - 1016 of 1086

Unlucky to anyone holding BOR today, as I have made clear I had no BOR and only FOGL - and glad it is that way.

The only read across for FOGL is that once again the source rock is proven to be hydrocarbon bearing.

BOR went drilling for small targets in the unstable Fold Belt in a more gassy area, and they paid the price for it.

FOGL was always the better bet, and its why I hold loads of FOGL and had no BOR :)
