Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

MRSI - concur; in many ways it's a win-win scenario for RKH, but assuredly not for DES

required field - 18 Oct 2010 12:12 - 3542 of 6294

I think you lot are barking up the wrong tree.....apart from a huge dilution and enless nonsense estimations for what RKH perhaps has or has not, there will be not much news until late january at the earliest....they might announce new targets to be drilled and such and such a broker might upgrade their stance but 3 months till next spud...minimum....have to say nice rebound this morning....but better value in other oilies....

hilary - 18 Oct 2010 12:14 - 3543 of 6294

late january at the earliest...

So that's 3 months for them to hit 35p then. After all the ramping nonsense on here earlier, they're not looking so clever now.

cynic - 18 Oct 2010 12:20 - 3544 of 6294

so hilary; tell us your true position on this one ...... have you made and banked lots? ...... have you done your dosh? ...... are you now short, and if so at what level?

not having a dig at you, but it would be interesting to know

hilary - 18 Oct 2010 12:23 - 3545 of 6294

Not that it's anything to do with you, but I'm short from last Wednesday and see no reason whatsoever to close out yet.

Hilary...don't be ridiculous....they have made a great discovery.....the only thing is that until more wells are sunk : we don't know the exact size....I just think that the sp will not perform like it has done until a firm spudding date is fixed !...and that is some way away...way after christmas....unless DES perform a miracle....

hilary - 18 Oct 2010 12:28 - 3547 of 6294

What great discovery? A cure for brewer's droop?

Intraday performance

Not so long ago the share price had a 50% retracement

Let's see what is doing from now on.

markymar - 18 Oct 2010 12:41 - 3551 of 6294

There has been a lot of talk on the thread about funding RKH next stage of drilling and at what priceNot much chat on a farm in partner who might bring some thing to the table.

Havent read any rumours yet of a farm in partner yet!!!!!! But I bet you will in the coming weeks.

cynic - 18 Oct 2010 12:42 - 3552 of 6294

hilary - shame you didn't make a shedload on the way up then, but one can't chase 'em that's for sure

cynic - 18 Oct 2010 12:42 - 3553 of 6294

hilary - shame you didn't make a shedload on the way up then, but one can't chase 'em that's for sure .... anyway, at about 360 or a bit lower i assume then

Master RSI - 18 Oct 2010 12:43 - 3554 of 6294

Not everyone is able to go from Peckam to Camberwell Green for a stroll to visit to the library or mabe most likely for a business pick UP

you noughty Girl ... hilary

hilary - 18 Oct 2010 12:49 - 3555 of 6294

I'm not interested in speculative hype, Cyners. The chances of failure will always be greater than the chance of success.

And significantly greater than 360 actually.

Master is it true you went jogging the other day just so you could hear some deep breathing.

Master RSI - 18 Oct 2010 13:04 - 3558 of 6294

NO
I know it not what you mean but have it ....

My joggins were back a few years ago, and that was cos I was champion on LONG JUMP.
If you said you saw me cycling lately , then I would say yes, I do not do any longer tree hanging with my feet ( from advised it was too risky at one time it was from a 20 feet high branch).

marky, farm in would not be good now IMO.

Best get Sea Lion appraised and proven and then farm it down.

Perhaps 10% of the license in exchange for the farm in partner funding those 5 option drills from the 3+5 program.

Its possible Arcadia could well not drill anything with DES and do a BHP, in which case, perhaps they will look to farm into the RKH licenses next year ? Who knows.........
