From the latest company's drilling update....17 Feb
http://moneyam.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200402170700084897V.html
Can anyone with mining knowledge explain these terms....
What does sidetracking mean? Approx how ong will that take?
Approx. how long will it take to correct a deviated section?
Is 'crude oil in shale samples' a good indication that there is oil?
Is 'Gas-bearing porous sands being logged' a good indication that there is gas?
Basically what does logging involve ?
Any views re AEX potential??
Regards
Stephen

It looks like the mms are playing games with this stock once again. Spread has gone up. Its not going to go down to 20p today, I think I will wait a bit. It will come down no doubt before moving up again.

AEX showing considerable strength after I sold, but have switched my gains into CSB which seems to me to be out of phase with AEX and perhaps due for a rise after paying a huge maiden dividend. Has everyone noticed EDR ? it's even outpaced AEX.

Not since 4/8 when AEX started to move it hasnt.
What would I rather have AEX at 35m or EDR at 40m. I know which has the bigger potential.
Silly making comparisons anyway.

Tanker
I think 2 quid may be some time coming (maybe some stage next year if all the North Korea political business turns out fine).
However 50p should certainly not be beyond possibility in the next 3 months.
At that price the company would be valued at just under 80 million which seems very reasonable for all the potential that it has (ie all the African and American interests as well as the potential from DPRK).
You can just see one or two of the newspaper tipsters having it as their Share of the Year tip for 2006 !!!

The whole potential here is very dependant on the state of NK of course. Kim is supposed to be indicating which son he wants to succeed him in the coming months.
Who he decides could be pivotal to this stock.
Dont get me wrong Tanker, I'm really excited about AEX, its just we have NO idea how much potential oil there is in NK. Indeed, it could be 5 a share, but then it might never happen.
I do agree with the short term rise possibilities-just waiting for cash and a good time to jump aboard.
You still waiting Kaysmart?
