i practice reading others' research when i can be bothered!

Toya - 22 Nov 2007 15:29 - 502 of 1154

Good grief - this is horrible! Thank goodness I sold at a good time for a change. What on earth is going on behind the scenes??

cynic - 22 Nov 2007 15:31 - 503 of 1154

i can see no reason for the precipitous fall in PET ...... so assuming there is not something sinister lurking and it is just a result of forced sales or computer triggers or similar, i would hazard that sp is within a copper or two of bottoming out and bouncing

Big Al - 22 Nov 2007 15:33 - 504 of 1154

IEC interstingly shows similar chart today and has bounced. Spooky.

cynic - 22 Nov 2007 15:35 - 505 of 1154

IG now quote 86/91 which is spot on the level i reckon should give support ...... not in buying mood myself, but i would be surprised if one could not deal well inside the quoted price, and would make an interesting punt, or at leasst better than many

cynic - 22 Nov 2007 16:02 - 506 of 1154

too clever by half .... it's now 94/97!

Big Al - 22 Nov 2007 16:16 - 507 of 1154

BOING!

poo bear - 22 Nov 2007 16:26 - 508 of 1154

Thanks cynic.

That's an answer at least (474)

I guess Lex is facing his own funeral in PET very soon. Don't blame us that we didn't warn you. If you are smart, SELL tomorrow.

cynic - 22 Nov 2007 18:58 - 510 of 1154

wrong (possibly)! as a play, it may prove to be a good time to get in .... read the few posts above

ptholden - 22 Nov 2007 20:48 - 511 of 1154

FWIW I have never shorted PET nor at the moment do I have any intentions to do so. Some here watched the SP hit giddy heights last time around only for a catastrophic collapse to follow. No wonder posters are somewhat dubious about their credentials and ability to make the all important deal and even if they do it's a long way from there to move the oil and turn a profit.

pth

While PET is certainly no pet of mine, i am glad to see that my call yesterday re support and bounce at 91 was spot on with sp now 107

Lex, you must be relieved: it's finished above the 100p mark.
